After that I was fascinated by the world of test tubes, flasks and beakers. After completing my chemistry studies, I worked for 13 years in the pharmaceutical industry in Cuba where I obtained my master's degree in chemical analysis and organic synthesis. At the time, I was tutoring high school students preparing for final exams in chemistry and math. I also supervised high school students for their chemistry thesis.
