Private Violin Lessons (For Beginners or Intermediate Level)Translate this text using Google Translate.

The violin is an instrument that speaks directly to the imagination. Many people dream of playing it — whether inspired by classical music, film soundtracks, folk music, or simply the beauty of its sound. Maybe you are discovering the violin for the first time, or perhaps you would like to reconnect with the instrument after playing it in childhood. Whatever your starting point, you are warmly welcome to begin or continue your musical journey with me. As a conservatory-trained musician with teaching experience at beginner and intermediate level, I guide students through the fundamentals of violin playing in a clear, patient, and supportive way. Together we work on posture, bow technique, intonation, rhythm, sound production, musicality, and developing confidence with the instrument. For me, learning the violin is not only about technique, but also about expression and finding your own voice through music. Every student has a different personality, sensitivity, and way of learning, so I adapt each lesson to your individual needs, goals, and pace. I believe music should feel alive, inspiring, and enjoyable. My teaching style is positive, flexible, and encouraging. I want students to feel comfortable exploring, making mistakes, and gradually building a genuine connection with the violin and with music itself.

Create your animated film from start to finish: writing - storyboarding - 2D animation - sound - special effects. (Specialty: anime / manga)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Create your animated film from start to finish: writing - storyboarding - 2D animation - sound - special effects. (Specialty: anime / manga)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Today, you can create an animated film from start to finish from home without depending on others. My methodology is based on this idea and it works! The only prerequisites to follow my training: open-mindedness, super-motivation and being ready to spend long hours drawing behind your computer/tablet independently. My animation style is based on frame by frame: that is, all character animations are drawn frame by frame. If you love anime (Japanese cartoons), look no further, I'm your man! Beginners are welcome, as are intermediate artists who would like to explore an alternative approach to that of animation studios (freelancers, students who wish to pursue their passions on the side). For animation, I prefer to start classes from age 12. (For young people who want to learn illustration, it is possible to take lessons with me from the age of 7.) We will look at the different stages: - Introduction (scriptwriting/storyboarding/cinematics for intermediate levels) - Creation (voice/music insertion/backgrounds/animation) - Finalization (post-compositing/audio and video effects) For the moment, I can only offer lessons at your home (Laeken/Brussels). The good news is that you don't need to invest in any computer equipment. I have everything I need at home. Programs: Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, After Effects and Auditiion. (Clip Studio can be replaced with Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate or TV-Paint if necessary) Personally, I think it's more productive to take at least 90 minutes per session, but I leave that up to you.

Mathematics, statistics and probability courses for high school and university studentsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I offer private tutoring in mathematics, statistics and probability to secondary school students and university students. The sessions are tailored to each student's level, difficulties, and objectives. We begin by identifying the concepts that pose a problem, then we review the basics before applying them in progressive exercises. I can assist you with, among other things: - review the basics in mathematics, algebra and calculation; - to better understand the theory; - develop your mathematical reasoning; - solving exercises step by step; - to study statistics and probabilities; - prepare for a test, an exam or a second session; - structure your revisions; - to gain confidence and autonomy. I have a degree in Business Engineering and a master's degree in Data Science and Statistics from UCLouvain. I currently work as a consultant in the field of data. I led university practical work in probability and mathematics in the first year of bachelor's studies and provided tutoring for three years via Schola ULB. My method is based on clear explanations, targeted exercises, and a structured progression. The goal is not only to pass an exam, but also to understand the reasoning behind it and develop a reusable method for tackling new problems.

I've been studying with Mohamed for several months now, and I can confidently say he is one of the smartest and most effective teachers I've ever worked with. He not only has a deep understanding of Python and Data Science, but he truly knows how to teach. Mohamed has a rare combination of strong technical expertise and outstanding teaching skills. He can explain complex topics in a simple and clear way, and he always chooses examples and exercises that really help you grasp the material. What I value most is his focus on practical application: we don’t get stuck in theory — we move straight to solving tasks that are relevant to real-world work. This makes each lesson extremely useful and efficient 👌🏼

I’m very pleased with Jannes. He is a conscientious teacher and makes sure to adapt the lesson to my needs and aspirations, whether it is in Russian or Dutch. Jannes additionally works on offering a great variety of content to work on, making the lessons continuously interesting. My knowledge and confidence level have definitely increased since I started working with Jannes.

Elvis left a good impression after our first lesson, since I had a sense he loves music and likes teaching. He came across as very professional, flexible and is good with kids as well as adults. It’s a big plus for us that he teaches both violin and piano. We look forward to continuing to learn from him!
