Rachel is a very good Mandarin teacher and I would strongly recommend her. I am a beginner and so far I have had five 90 minute lessons. In each one she has struck a very good balance between enough difficulty for me to learn quickly whilst being supportive and keeping my motivation high. Therefore I am very pleasantly surprised with how much I have managed to learn in such short a timespan :)
