Life skills for young adults aimed at 16 to 18 year olds.

Much of a secondary school's education prepares teenagers for their immediate futures, focussing on academic achievements and some career advice.
Very little time is spent on basic life skills that are vital in adulthood.
This course aims to bridge that gap providing valuable lessons in the following areas; getting a job, finances, behaving responsibly, independence, safety in a variety of situations, money traps, politics, and voting and current affairs.
In addition, classes can be tailored to the needs of students and/or parents' wishes.

I love teaching and training people of all ages and abilities.
I'm friendly, down to earth and I don't use big words to show how clever I am.
I have had many jobs in my life and a lot of different experiences like most middle aged people.
Having 5 children who are now grown up I have often thought, why don't schools teach kids more about becoming adults and what to expect. For this reason I have developed a course that I hope will be fun, useful and a valuable resource for young adults to help them make a good start in life.

Education
I attended the highly respected Queen Elizabeth Grammar School Wakefield West Yorkahire,during my early school life in the 1980s, where I gained 5 O'levels and 1 A' level.
Expérience / Qualifications
I attended Huddersfield University as a mature student commencing in 2007 at the prestigious School of Education and graduated in 2011 gaining a B.A. (Hons) degree in Religion and Education 2:1.
