Rose is a classical cellist from Australia with extensive teaching experience and cello performance qualifications. She is currently studying her Master's in Cello Performance at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Rose has worked as a private cello teacher since 2014. In 2019 she was the Residential Music Tutor at Janet Clarke Hall, the University of Melbourne, and in the same year completed her Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree in Cello Performance, graduating with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. In 2020 she was a Lead Teaching Artist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's outreach program, and in 2021 she relocated to Vienna to pursue her Master's degree at the MDW. Rose has experience teaching students of all levels and ages, and offers lessons in both English and German.

I offer private violin lessons to ... Hello! I teach private piano lessons to adults and children at all levels. My methods of teaching varies on each individual. I generally start to focus on music theory, techniques, repertoire and understanding music emotionally using dynamics, feeling, touch and hearing skills. The emotional part of music is very prominent when I teach, it is very important for the student to enjoy what they're learning and to also have access to be able to express themselves through music. Some students are better at learning by ear, improvising and composition, some other students are better with music theory and learning repertoire. Depending on the student, I usually work on their strengths to keep their interest and eventually move on to the more difficult aspects of music and learning how to play the piano! Musicians health is also a part of my teaching methods. It is very important to approach music with a relaxed attitude mentally and physically especially to prevent any future injuries! This course is aimed at anyone who is considering starting to play the piano or starting where they may have stopped years ago or simply looking for advice and listeners. I offer fresh access to teaching, where basic principles and ideas of playing the piano are adapted to the skills and any previous knowledge. But since the music is never just in the notes and keys, I also attach particular importance to a simple and creative introduction to the classical music language and the theory associated with it. The most important thing in the end is still the joy of making music and that's why I try to make the hours fun and relaxed :)

Hello! Would you like to learn the violin, improve your skills or prepare for an entrance exam or competition? Then you are exactly right here! Originally from Vienna, I recently completed my Masters in Violin at the Juilliard School in New York City. Before that I studied in Hamburg and London, where I took part in violin pedagogy in addition to my solo training. I tailor the lessons to each person, depending on their needs and wishes - it should definitely always be fun! For the beginner lessons I prefer to use two-part music (duets or pieces with main voice and accompaniment), so that the focus is on enjoying the music right from the start. If you're already advanced, we can dig deeper and delve into musical and technical details to get the best out of each work. The first hour is always free - I look forward to seeing you!

Hello! With my lessons you can take a journey through the flute literature. I completed my teaching qualification in transverse flute at a Vienna Conservatory with distinction and my bachelor's examination in "Performing Art of the Flute" with good success. I have been giving lessons in flute and recorder for 3 years. I have experience with children from the age of 5, adolescents and adults. My goal is to ignite the joy of music and to build up a sound technique as a basis. Of course, the fun of playing shouldn't be neglected either. I see every student in their individuality and would like to address their strengths / weaknesses and interests.

Playing the piano is my passion! I am currently studying music education with the main instrument piano at the MDW (Music and Performing Arts Vienna). For many years now, I have been teaching children and adults of all levels with great pleasure. My teaching methods are very creative and don't just involve playing by grades.
