I have been teaching Chinese (Mandarin) to several English, French, and German native speakers in the past 5 years, of all levels. I helped them with speaking, characters recognising, writing, listening, reading and HSK exam preparations. Many of my students were MBA students developing their career in China. I have also tutored teenagers around 10-15 years old and received very positive feedback from the family. Knowing that Chinese is fundamentally different from European languages, I have found way to come around and explain the language in your perspective. And I am very excited to help you in this progress!

I like to teach Chinese in real life settings. Depending on the student’s level, the class can take place in a bookstore, a park, a super market, a Chinese restaurant, where we will have conversations in Chinese. On the other hand, if you are keen to polish your writing and reading, I also have a set of materials to help you. Everything will be tailor made for your level, area of interest and adjustments will be made to motivate your learning.

Hello! My name is Zhilin. I am a Chinese who have lived outside home for five years. I am passionate about teaching Chinese and sharing Chinese cultures (and food) with friends from all over the world!

I came to Geneva more than one year ago and worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross. Now I am on an assignment for United Nations in Geneva.

I graduated with a bachelor degree in Business Administration and Global Studies in Asia's top university in Hong Kong, (2014-2018).

I was the first place in Chinese College Entrance Examination (Gao Kao) in 2014 in my home city (7 million habitants). I had a top score in my Chinese examination as well.

During my study in Hong Kong, I tutored several MBA students who were ambitious in developing a career in China. I polished their speaking, listening, writing and reading. I tailor made my lessons according to their levels, learning experiences, needs and interests.

I was also a family tutor for an German-American secondary student with her writing and Chinese expressions. I blended article reading, dictate, video watching into my teaching and my student found it a lot of fun!

I have also helped several colleagues with zero Chinese knowledge from different backgrounds, to learn some survival Chinese before they travel to China!

My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).

I started teaching and tutoring Spanish at a very young age helping my colleagues from High School achieve better scores and later I formalize this activity while finishing my university studies.

Graduated in mathematics and physics, I offer my help to students who encounter difficulties in these two subjects. My approach is to review with them the key points of the lessons and to assist them in their homework, whether at home or through online sessions via webcam.
