Violin lessons for children, begginers and intermediates and initiation in music theory

For all levels, from beginners to more advanced, no matter age, just eagerness. I like to motivate my students regarding to their music tastes. Always trying to keep a creative environment where the students can express themselves in all aspects. I believe that it is necessary to be constant. The ideal would be one hour or hour and a half a week, but that depends on the student availability. I would provide a personal adaptation. I consider myself an involved and motivated musician. I am constantly trying to learn and enjoy so much doing it. In the meantime I was studying the degree, I taught weekly, mainly kids and teenagers, and the last two summers I was teaching in a Flute Summer Course, individual lessons and for chamber music. I have done a university course for Psychology for Musicians, which encouraged me to go deeper in this field, and currently this is the base of my teaching and my mindset for my studies and life.

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

Student at the HKU conservatory in Classical and Jazz/Pop violin, I give private lessons for beginners to advanced violinists. The lessons take place with joy and patience in order to guide the student according to his needs and his personal research. The student chooses what he/her would like to work on, from classical to folklore and improvisation. I apply methods related to the physiotherapy of musicians in order to develop the faculties and deepen the musicality of each musician while respecting the natural postures of the body. After studying in Lyon with Claire Bernard, I entered in the HKU Utrechts Conservatorium in classical and Jazz:Pop violin. Since then, my activities are balanced between chamber music, professional orchestras and fusion Jazz bands like Citrus Blossom and Drone Alone.

The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject. Each student has different needs and different abilities. It's just a matter of getting to know the student, in order to identify both the weaknesses and strengths on which to work.

Guitar playing is a fantastic skill, and is passed down from generation to generation. I have been playing since I was a child, and studied music for 5 years, up to masters level. My classes focus on orienting beginners and intermediate level guitarists in repertoire, theory application, and musicianship. The classes run for 2 hours and are taught in English. First we will assess your current ability and what your goals are, and then we can make a roadmap to get you where you want to be in a reasonable time frame. I usually set one piece of homework each lesson. I like to use Sibelius First (totally free software!) to share score sheets and activities with my students.

I am studying at the conservatory in Utrecht classical violin. Singing lessons for all levels and age. For beginners, together we can discover the range of your voice and build the breathing and singing technique. At the same time we will work on music theory, ear training and how to read a score. For mature singers, we can delve into the singing technique and interpretation and add pieces in your repertoire. The lessons are provided both online and in person and can be held in English or Greek. I also speak some Italian and German. About me I have been playing the piano for 15 years. I have studied Classical Singing in the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata (Greece) and I have followed a two-year Early Music Programme in Athens Conservatoire. At the same time I studied Music Theory (Harmony) at the Greek National Conservatoire from which I gained my Harmony degree. In addition, I have a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Currently, I am a second year master student at the Utrechts Conservatorium and working as a singer at the NKK NXT. I have participated in Operas (“Julius Cesar”- 2015 in Athens Concert Hall and “Alcina”-2019 in Odeon of Herodes Atticus) as a member of a vocal ensemble and I have also performed as a soloist in many concerts. Some of the stages I have performed are: TivoliVredenburg, Athens Concert Hall, Greek National Opera and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

I have been working for 10 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): Experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both individually and in groups. Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler. During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old. When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts. I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free. Technique is also very important in the everyday life of a musician, together we can see the best exercises for you, to help you improve and have more confidence with the instrument.

With many years of teaching experience I give Classical and Modern violin lessons to students starting from beginner to advanced level. I am a Greek pianist and I have been living in the Netherlands for the last couple of years. I started teaching children and adults individually as well as in groups 8 years ago. According to your preferences we can create a lesson structure which combines technique and theory (chords, scales, harmony) but also repertoire that you enjoy and love.
