I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

I really enjoy teaching and I have a lot of experience teaching children and adults. I want to share my knowledge and be part of your musical journey! The lesson duration will be 30 min to 1 hour, depending on your needs. The lesson will be taught in English or Indonesian. During the lesson, we will discuss about piano technique, theory, solfège and I could share a lot of fun stories about music. We will also make music together during the lesson. I could off course adjust the lesson according to your personal needs and preferences in music. So let’s have some fun and enjoy the process together.

My name is Panagiotis and I am a guitar teacher/player. I have two bachelor degrees: Classical Guitar (Philippos Nakas Conservatory), Jazz&Pop Guitar (HKU Utrecht Conservatory). I have been teaching in music schools and giving individual lessons for the last 14 years. In 2017 I moved to Utrecht to continue my studies in jazz guitar at the Utrecht Conservatory and explore the Dutch music scene.I teach electric, acoustic, classical guitar and music theory. Besides the basic technique and theory knowledge, which Ι make sure to provide to each of my students , I individually prepare their study line, according to their taste and abilities. My goal is to help my students to find their own musicality and reveal their inner voice by giving them the most appropriate tools. Besides teaching I have two bands which I give lots of concerts with , at several venues and festivals.

The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject. Each student has different needs and different abilities. It's just a matter of getting to know the student, in order to identify both the weaknesses and strengths on which to work.

Harpsichord music repertoire is extremely rich and there are plenty of wonderful pieces for all levels. So even if you are a beginner I promise you will not get bored! You will learn how to ornament and decorate the melody. Baroque music is a lot about ornamentation. Emphasis will be given of course on expression and musicality. A big part of the harpsichordists job is to play the basso continuo. This mean that you will learn to improvise instantly in given base lines.

My name is Mar and I am a 24-year-old pianist (with pedagogical training) who is doing her master degree at the Utrecht Conservatory. I have been working for 10 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): Experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both individually and in groups. I teach private singing lessons to children, teenagers, and adults in English (for now) and beginner music theory for all ages. I have 20 years experience as a performer and 10 years of teaching experience and have a passion for sharing music with others through music education. I believe that singing is a joyful expression of each unique voice and person. My teaching philosophy is to nurture students to have a fun and positive relationship with music no matter the level or age. My focus on a classical vocal technique gives the student a clear understanding of vocal technique, including: breathing techniques, pitch control, musicality and the knowledge to explore any genre of song. I am a Greek pianist and accordionist, and I give lessons of piano and music theory to kids and adults. I obtained my Classical Piano and Classical Harmony Diploma in Thessaloniki, Greece, and I am currently in the Master's Program (Piano Performance, second subject Music Production) in the HKU Conservatorium, specializing in Contemporary Music and researching about the combination of Piano with Live Electronics. During my studies, I have joined many concerts (solo, chamber music and bands), I have made recordings, played with electronics, accompanied puppet theatre and composed music in DAWs like Ableton.
