Do you want to learn the basics of drawing? Or are you already past that level? Do you want to draw on paper (with pencils) or on a screen? Do you want to learn the basics of 2D animation? All for a very reasonable price? We can do it! Nice to meet you, I'm Daniel. I'm a (private) art teacher, I'm also a freelance artist and have been working as one for about 7 years. I'm looking for students in Utrecht, I have a teaching space available in my apartment (I can share my address when you contact me), but am also able to travel to your desired space within the city. I can also teach via webcam, but I do recommend my in-person classes, seeing as they're more immersive and educational. I unfortunately do not speak Dutch (yet), but am confident we can overcome any potential language barrier we come across. I have the most experience in teaching teenagers and preteens, so I think we would definitely be a good match if you're a parent or guardian looking for a teacher for your child. Would you like to be able to illustrate the worlds and stories you imagine? Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters? If you have those concerns, I would love to help you. I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels. I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story. I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French. I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.

This course is aimed at those wishing to improve or discover the disciplines of traditional and/or digital drawing. I have a bachelor's degree in computer graphics, animation and illustration since 2019. I teach drawing in general and the use of the Adobe suite (including Illustrator and Photoshop, the most popular digital drawing software). Are you a student, architect, interior designer, or real estate agent? Or simply someone who would like to master photorealistic 3D renderings? I offer private lessons, both one-on-one and online, on Autodesk's 3ds Max software with the Corona rendering engine. Together, we'll explore how to best use 3ds Max for interior design projects. We will go through all the stages of modeling, starting with the assembly of the main "box", the import of the different objects and their modification if necessary, the adjustment of the lights and the cameras, to finish with the export of the renderings and the post-production on Photoshop. If you need help with a specific project, I can also help you optimize your scenes and render them faster and with better quality. I’ve designed this course as a practical guide to Photoshop that’s specifically made for learning photographers. You will learn how to make selections, create masks, retouching portraits and use advanced techniques to not only improve photographs, but to turn them into entirely new images.

My name's Sean, and I am a freelance illustrator with over 10 years experience working in print, animation and video games My lessons focus on introducing the principles behind digital artwork, understanding the software and equipment needed for digital artwork and developing the practical drawing skills needed to start creating. My goal is to empower you with the skills to start your digital art journey, demystify the various tools available in drawing applications and tailor advice specific to the kinds of artworks you want to create.

My course is focused on the desires for expression and research formulated by the students.
