I have over 8 years of experience in teaching Mathematics for middle and high school students. I worked at the British Embassy School of Ankara, Turkey, before moving to Estonia. I specialize in teaching IB and IGCSE curriculum, having graduated from those myself as well, I went on to study Electrical and Electronics engineering at Hacettepe University and now studying Integrated Engineering at Tallinn University of Technology, I am also going to be doing a PGCE course this coming academic year.

I have also worked privately with students from four different international schools in Ankara and had great success with them, since moving to Tallinn, I have been continuing to work with my students in Turkey through an online distance learning program which has given me a lot of experience in distance learning and has been just as efficient and productive for the students. I have my own website where I keep all my resources for students to use and obtain their homeworks and class notes, making it a very efficient and easy to use platform.

I have got a teaching experience of 10 years already wherein I have taught students of all levels starting from Elementary School to Master Degree. I can teach the student individually or in a short group if students can form within themselves at my place or at the students' location. Each student will be assigned homework after every lesson and to ensure the progress, a small/short evaluation test might be conducted (depends from case to case). To be precise, I was in the research group of Prof. David Meyer from UCSD, specializing mainly in quantum computing, and also doing project in data mining (like for instance analysis of mobile phone data and processing of satellite images). I have a PhD in mathematics from UCSD (area being representation of Lie groups).
At this moment I find myself in Tallin before starting a new position again at UCSD. I like the city very much and want to earn my daily bread while I am here and no appeal to other financial reserves. Moreover, I enjoy teaching and explaining whatever I understand in Mathematics, Probability and Statistics to whoever is interested. In my youth I was somewhat of a prodigy and went to the International Mathematical Olympiad with the Romanian team. That is if anybody would wonder why I am not working already as a Mathematician. I will soon, but in the meantime, I want to use my talent to earn some money here in Estonia.
I have a Romanian citizenship. I speak fluently Romanian, English, Russian, French, and well enough German. At this moment I am also learning Estonian.

We can start from scratch and learn the basics of English. We should cover grammar, tenses, sentence structure, vocabulary as well as pronunciation of words. By the end of the class, you should be able to make conversations and write essays in English.
For Mathematics, I prefer onsite teaching where you and I can sit together and solve sums. You will learn the solving techniques and practice worksheets. Mathematics lessons are for classes/grades 1-10.
