In my classes we will study music theory, learn the posture and various violin techniques, work on the sweet sound production and on the pieces/songs that you like!

Having an experience of teaching full time in Singapore for 4 years, I have came up with lots of methods in teaching and helping my students with progress in violin playing. Currently I went on to continue my studies in Switzerland and now am offering online classes to everyone who is interested in learning to play Violin

I’m very patient and diligent teacher. From my students I expect involvement, concentration in class and of course passion for violin:)

For beginners we would start with learning Music Theory and how to apply it to the violin. Followed by learning the posture and techniques on how to produce sound we will gradually get to the point where a student will be able to play simple tunes in 1-2 months!

For intermediate and advanced students we will work on the repertoire based on their level of playing, as well as supporting the process of learning new pieces by adding exercises and scales to improve their technique and to ease the study of a piece! I enjoy working on different styles and periods of music and also to improve student’s sound and musicianship!

You will find our classes easygoing and fun!

I hold a Master in Classical Violin Pedagogy, issued by the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne and I offer violin lessons for all ages and for all levels! Different styles of music possible: classical, klezmer, jazz, Irish, pop music, covers of all kinds, improvisation, etc. I also have a second Masters in improvisation and composition from the Lucerne Conservatory of Music.
I offer you a friendly experience of discovery and deepening of your musical and instrumental skills, in order to be able to play the violin with pleasure and comfort.
I teach according to the principles of the Alexander Techniques, a bodily and mental technique that allows you to practice music in a physiologically intelligent and mentally coherent way, which ensures you a thoughtful, pleasant and physically balanced learning of the violin!

Currently, violin student at HEMU Lausanne offers teaching of various musical instruments such as violin, drums, electric guitar and electric bass, as well as musical production (composition / songwriting, recording) and musical theory (Solfège) vor, harmony, writing), for all ages and Levelx (Beginner, intermediate and advanced).

I am 3rd Concertmaster of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and have an extensive performing and teaching experience. I have been guest concertmaster of many European orchestras and have recently relocated to Geneva. All levels of playing are welcome, but I can be particularly helpful with more advanced students. It is from these notions that the quality of sound, digital and respiratory technique, intonation, expression, and many others arise. I also give importance to well-being, self-confidence, or other abilities that the student would like to acquire.

SOLFÈGE: My courses cover several aspects necessary for the successful learning of music theory: strategies for recognizing intervals, chords and rhythms and their executions, singing, musical indications, exercises, attentive listening, musicality. These aspects are essential to instrumental practice, because they first allow you to correctly read a score, then analyze and interpret it.

Cello lessons, at any level!

I am a qualified cello teacher and experienced musician with a solid background in many fields and, despite i'm 25 yo, lots of experience! I worked in music schools, very good orchestras and i regularely have concerts, also in chamber music. Occasionally i also play in pop groups/orchestras.

I have good microphones for the best online teaching experience, and i can also work in person, near Lausanne, CH (Vaud).
