ClarisseEnglish tutoring (beginners / support)
English is a language now essential to evolve in the school environment. It is taught from the sixth, but many students still have difficulty learning it because it is not a language with Latin roots like French.
I propose two types of courses:
- a learning court in the English language; grammar, syntax, vocabulary, conjugation, standard phrases (presentation, weather ...) Partially reserved for primary school students who do not have English classes in their school.
- a support court; a kind of upgrade. Reserved for students in difficulty, whether they are in primary or college. For this course I first assess the level of the student and then I prepare courses adapted to the gaps.
I do not have a method "type", I prefer to adapt to the student, according to his preferences. However, I like to base myself on English books for children that I own, like those of Dr. Seuss, which can be very useful for all the modules (vocabulary, syntax and grammar).
First and foremost, I want to say that I am not a professional, I am a student in English as a LEA, that has always been my forte. I passed the literary baccalaureate with honors, so 17 written English coef 8 (since it was my specialty) and 20 oral. I think I can help younger people acquire the logic of language.

PatrickEnglish, your way, the Highway! (90 minutes course)
Certified teacher, having lived 8 years in the States offers English classes in Paris and its surroundings. At each first session, I explain to my student that my role is not to judge or despair but to accompany him in his reappropriation of the language. We sit down with a little conversation to thicken his vocabulary, improve his accent, his sentence structure, his fluidity. Then, we approach a new point of grammar and we verify the assimilation through creative and personal exercises. Finally, we can end up listening, a game, a commentary, a translation of a song or an article chosen by the student. My approach, which is based on the student's interests, has been particularly fruitful and has reconciled many students with English. Here is the text of one of them sent recently: "Bjr Patrick, I hope you're fine I'm taken to HP, I have to wait until the post is open now finally I hope otherwise I'll have done all that for nothing, but in any case, it will have allowed me to improve my English and I thank you for it because you helped me a lot. "
