Ciao! I am a native Italian and English speaker and I have been teaching teenagers and adults in the last ten years. A History, Cultural Heritage and Chemistry graduate, I am especially passionate about linguistics and different cultures! Our conversation lessons will help you learn and practice your Italian, whether you are a beginner or want to perfect the language. Topics will be tailored to your needs and can range from basic scenarios to more specific ones (professional, travel or cultural context). When necessary we can focus on specific grammar rules and expand vocabulary that is more important to you. Approach - I always encourage the student to develop a personal connection to the language by exploring personal interests and real-life language use. In my lessons, I favour a flexible approach and encourage regular practice, which will definitely help you to develop your Italian and keep it active in the long run.

Do you love Italian people, history, and food and you would like to speak the language? I am a CEDILS-certified Italian teacher born and raised in Florence, and I've also been a language student myself for a long time! If you want to be able to interact with Italians quickly, I can give you some tips about correct pronunciation, fundamental grammar, and vocabulary, but also Italian art and popular culture, which I think is fundamental to understanding the mentality and the country that you are going to interact with. Lessons will be tailored according to the student's needs, level, and mother language and focused on the conversation. I am also available to proofread your writings.

Language Classes: I will focus on teaching grammar via textbook exercises and tailored ones, as well as helping putting grammar into practice through a conversation based class. Cooking Classes: I will teach the basics of Italian Cuisine as well as any more specific recipes. I can spam from easy appetizers to complex desserts and main courses. For all the recipes, the most important ingredient is enthusiasm :)

As native Italian speaker and advanced English user who lived aborad for the past 5 years, I have an excellent knowledge of both Italian and English. I have 3 years of experience in teaching languages online and in person. Italy is one of the countries where not that many citizens speak English language, therefore it might be difficult to adapt to locals without knowing Italian, at least basic one. By this class I would like to immerse you into Basic Italian language and culture. For the teaching purposes, throughout the classes, I will use different highly-rated textbooks of local editions, effective YouTube channels, interesting articles. I will cover main functional areas of Italian grammar and vocabulary within different areas and will make sure that you start speaking since the first class already, since Practice Makes Perfect and Italian is not so difficult as it may seem at first! The goals, needs, expectations will be discussed in person with every student and adapted towards personality. The program and classes content will also depend on the prior mentioned factors. I give private lessons in art history for three years, either for students who need an accompaniment, or for the curious who want to enrich their artistic culture. Former student in difficulty, I developed a method that allows to analyze any type of work, from classical to contemporary, without prior knowledge. I am specialized in the methodology of dissertation / dissertation according to the rules of the French University. After one year of private lessons, she was admitted to the GRETA School of Guides Speakers. -Aude: I guide Aude and her two teenage children in the big museums to discover the little stories behind each painting. From the Palais de Tokyo to the Louvre Museum I invent for them playful ways to apprehend the works. - Jacqueline: 94, had lost her good humor and was bored. For two years now, we meet every week for a moment of sharing and exchange around artistic themes chosen especially for her. It's a joy for everyone.

Always enjoying languages, I grew up in an international culture and school. I indeed lived 6 years in Italy during my childhood and therefore speak fluent Italian. This made it easier for me to learn English (obtaining Cambridge KET level in 6th grade) and German, which I present all three at the baccalaureate. I also learned Spanish on a personal basis by passion for languages! Having therefore learned four foreign languages myself, I am passionate about this objective and will take great pleasure in helping you achieve it.
