Maarten will give you the piano lessons. He can teach classical, and jazz piano. He graduated his studies in the conservatory of Amsterdam with prof. Jan Wijn and graduated with the highest score among piano students (Bachelor of Music, piano). He played several solo and chamber music concerts in concert hall, church, museum, library, hospital and elderly houses. He is regularly invited by Belgium Chamber music festival to play with famous musicians such as guitarist philip Catherine. Recently he graduated master degree in Brussels Conservatorium studying with prof. Boyan Vodenitcharov. Since he has a lot of knowledge of harmonization and counterpoints, he has composed and arranged many works and played many of his own pieces in concerts.

Asako will give the cello lessons. She has master degree, cello performance and chamber music, also has an academic university diploma for Musicology. She studied in Japan, Hungary (Franz Liszt Academy), Norway (Norway Academy of Music), and Netherlands (Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Utrecht Conservatoire).She can teach in Japanese, English and on a basic level in Hungarian and French. Asako can teach the cello for all levels and ages. Especially She is enthusiastic about teaching.

If the method is right, anyone can do it! It is with this spirit that I give my cello lessons, and I live with great pleasure to see my students progress every week with this magnificent instrument!

Have you been hesitating about starting the cello for a while? Do you dream of playing the prelude to Bach's first suite or a melody you've heard played on the cello? or do you just want to enjoy the magnificent sound of this instrument?

Malaysian cellist, in France for 12 years, I graduated from DEM at the Paris Regional Conservatory and from the Performance Diploma at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, I am currently studying in the concert cycle at the Paris Regional Conservatory. This is why I know the French and Asian working method well and I love the exchanges between Asian music and European music, and it is with pride that I offer you my cello lessons.

Before going even further, I would like to share with you my cello learning journey.

I was born in a small town in the south of Malaysia, where there weren't many music teachers, although I knew I wanted to play cello very early, I only had the chance to 'finally started the cello when I was 15, and then when I came to France I realized that I was a lot behind my classmates...

This is why I wanted to find a very effective way to learn the instrument, I was lucky to have superb teachers who helped me progress and since then I have passed the competition for '' entered the CRR in Paris (being much older than my classmates), I graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris and even better I did a lot of concerts, I participated in master's class and I even passed competitions to play as an academic / intern in orchestras.

All this to tell you that there is no age to start, all that matters is motivation and a good learning method. I was certainly not the genius child but I knew how to adapt to have real results.

Everything I learned, you can learn too, I have always loved sharing my passion for music and with years of teaching experience, I have helped my students as children, adult beginners or more advanced to have real progress and results...

My teaching plan is firstly, to understand your objective, whatever it is to be able to play a specific piece or just to have fun with the instrument etc... then to establish a work plan which suits you well, and then help you step by step until you reach your goal. And I truly believe that anyone can succeed with a well-established plan.

I try to vary between the Suzuki method and the classical studies of Feuillard etc, I also arrange the pop music or film music according to your desires. For beginners, I try to help you establish a very solid basic technique so that you can progress quickly but with a lot of rigor. For the advanced amateurs, I try to work more in the musicality and to play works in different styles.

I teach in French, English or Mandarin.

I can also gladly give you advice on renting / buying a cello.

Mes cours s'adressent à des élèves de tout âge et de tout niveau, allant du débutant à l'élève de troisième cycle amateur.
Ma priorité étant le plaisir de l'apprentissage.
J'aide au développement de la sensibilité de l'élève à travers le violoncelle et apprends à mettre la technique de l'instrument au service de la musique.
Je peux également apporter de mes connaissances en solfège et peux servir de soutien à l'élève en dehors des cours au conservatoire.

Aujourd'hui musicienne professionnelle, je suis diplômée en violoncelle du Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris (DEM), d'une Licence de Musicologie à La Sorbonne et d'un Master en Management des Activités Culturelles et Artistiques à l'INSEEC Paris, je mets à disposition mes connaissances et propose ainsi des cours de Formation Musicale ( et chant) et de Violoncelle pour tous les niveaux.

Cela fait plus de 15 ans que je dispense des cours de Formation Musicale et de Violoncelle.
J'adapte mes cours en fonction de la demande de l'élève, que ce soit dans un cadre de loisir ou en soutien parallèlement au conservatoire.
Intermittente du spectacle sur des projets de musiques actuelles depuis une dizaine d'années, je peux également dispenser des cours plus axés sur l'improvisation et la musique pop et de variété.

Je dispose d'une expérience dans l'encadrement d'enfants musiciens (stages, concerts, tournées) et accorde un grand intérêt à la pédagogie.

I am a young Italian professional cellist with 23 years of study and professional experience. I have been living in Paris for four and a half years. I earned a Bachelor's degree from the Turin Conservatory, then specialized in Baroque music in Paris, completing advanced studies at the Paris Conservatory, a Master's degree from the Versailles Conservatory, and a second Master's degree in Classical and Romantic music from the Saintes Conservatory (Abbaye aux Dames). I work with several renowned European early music ensembles such as Le Concert Spirituel, Accademia Bizantina, Les Ombres, and La Chimera. I was a semi-finalist in the prestigious MA Competition 2021 in Bruges. I also play modern music, and with my solo cello and electronic music project, I have had the opportunity to participate in major Italian festivals. In France, I regularly work with the French chanson trio Melquiades.

I offer cello lessons for all levels and all styles (classical cello, baroque cello and modern cello), with the possibility of following the lessons at home, by webcam or at home, in French, Italian and English.

The method that I adopted in my studies and that I teach is Suzuki: working on the student, nourishing his environment with stimuli and simultaneously developing his artistic and technical maturity, his morality and his character.
I also believe in group work, the possibility of playing with friends or colleagues, so I often suggest creating small ensembles to share and learn good music with others.

Mon rapport à l'enseignement se base essentiellement sur les besoins particuliers de chaque élève aussi bien sur la technique que sur la musicalité. J'ai l'habitude de faire des arrangements de musique de film ( Games of Thrones, Harry Potter, Star Wars, pirates des Caraïbes etc...), ce qui a pour effet de motiver les élèves dans leur travail technique et musical. Je propose des oeuvres généralement solistes mais aussi des duos de violoncelle, ce qui aide à l'approche harmonique et expressif.
