I am Irina and I am a CELTA certified English teacher.

I have been teaching English since 2011, 5 years I taught in Russia, and 5 years I taught English in British and American companies to native speakers of other languages in Asia. I have a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language, Applied Linguistics, a TESOL Diploma from Glasgow University, as well as IELTS, TESOL and City & Guilds certificates.

I have tutored adults in English from A1 to C1 level, and have also prepared Chinese students to take international exams such as IELTS and CPE for admission to top universities in America. Recent students have been admitted to universities such as MIT and the University of Pennsylvania.

The most important thing for me is that you achieve your goal of learning English. I believe that absolutely anyone can learn English to the level of a native speaker with the right approach and a competent teacher.

I will do everything I can to bring you to the next level of English in the shortest possible time. At higher levels, such as Intermediate or Upper-Intermediate, you and I will actively expand our vocabulary, pump up grammar, through the active use of phrasal verbs, idioms, and special expressions that will make your speech richer and more eloquent, and help you understand native speakers as if you were talking to them in your native language.

My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).

I started teaching and tutoring Spanish at a very young age helping my colleagues from High School achieve better scores and later I formalize this activity while finishing my university studies.

To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.
