I have been studying social sciences since I was 14 and now I'm 21. I would love to transfer what I have learnt at GCSE, A-LEVELS and my Degree to students who may not be finding it as unchallenging! My teaching style is very personalised; I want to present the knowledge and then the students develop their own techniques for revision whether that be mind-maps or a song. However, I will also provide my own resources whether that be a quiz or worksheet. I will also test them after every new topic using past exam papers to prepare them for what is to come.

Have pen and paper! I will try and provide most of the resources for you to work on.

About Me
I have recently graduated from my degree in Criminology and Sociology but have experience in psychology as well and feel equipped to tutor those who may be studying these subjects. I have worked with young people at Brownies but I am now looking to gain more experience ahead of my PGCE course in social sciences. I am a busy bee most of the time, volunteering where I can, most recently at my university with homeless people. I not only want to transfer skills in my subject but encourage students to be more proactive with their learning; you'd be surprised how much social sciences knowledge is helpful in everyday life.

Stories are as old as we are, but if you want to put a story on paper or portray a story, it turns out to be more difficult than talking to your friends. How about now?
Not what you tell, but HOW you tell it is the most important.
The basics and how to use psychology to write a story, this is what you will learn anyway. Those who want to continue afterwards will learn how to write a script. Fiction or facts, you decide what you want to learn.

Additionally, for each subject a clear essay structure for exams will be outlined and practised based on IGCSE & IB grading criteria.
