Politics Tutoring for Postgraduates, Undergraduates and Sixth Formers.

I would want to cover the particular curriculum for the Politics subject which I am tutoring.
As it happens, because of my advanced studies and teaching experience, I would feel able to cover most politics curricula in the fields of British, European and American Politics.
It would be important to identify the specific aims of the subject curricula and apply them towards teaching the student (s) both for the purposes of meeting any course dissertations and also preparing for examinations.
My priorities would embrace three areas.
1. Subject reading of textbooks, journals, tv/radio programmes and other leading sources.
2.Intensive essay and document writing, with close scrutiny of each assignment.
3. Constant attention to past exam papers and regular mock testing/monitoring under exam conditions.

About Me

I would feel myself to be a well-educated and dynamic person with a strong commitment to all my subjects and the academic well-being of my students. Actually, student success is my primary motivator, and I am proud of my high-level examination success rates of past students. Most peers and contemporaries, past and present, would say that I am a historian from my head to my toes, and indeed live, breathe and smell History 365 days per year! Being a professional writer of Historic and Political books, as well as biographer of political and ecclesiastical figures, gives that extra edge to my subject interests. - Not all work with no play! In my own time, I am a deeply committed Catholic, albeit ecumenical and broadminded. I love football, and am a lifelong Hibernian (Edinburgh) supporter. Also, I have the good fortune to be married to my beloved Mary-Jane, a Filipina lady, and herself the greatest of God's blessings in my life.

Private lessons / preparation for Grandes Ecoles competitions: economics, political science, general culture, English, French
Doctor in political science and graduate in economics (Master), I have been teaching humanities in English and French in various grandes écoles (IEP) and business schools (EDHEC, SKEMA) for more than ten years. Always respectful of the pace and needs of my students, I help them achieve their goals (preparation of files or entrance exams to high school, validation of exams ...) serenely. For ten years, my goal has been the same: to help my students to surpass themselves by communicating to them a deep joy of learning. I suggest you help you refine your file, consolidate your knowledge (general culture, economics or political science) and sharpen your skills (reflection / writing / presentation) so that, rather than arid "tests", your exams become opportunities or occasions to demonstrate your progress.

SES courses, economics, sociology - College and high school level any level
A typical course is organized as follows: 1- Learning phase in which I present the concepts and ideas to be retained for the course. 2- Applying these concepts to be sure that you have correctly assimilated them. 3- Debrief phase with you. As I went through a preparatory class for two years, my level in SES is quite respectable. I have already given dozens of hours of lessons to many students who all come out enriched according to their words.

Mondialisation. Le rêve américain." Qu'est-ce que c'était? Qu'est ce que c'est maintenant? Trump!? Les États-Unis et l'avenir. || We will start with your view and understanding of the USA. We will discuss current events and dig down into their roots. I will recommend things for you to read, watch, or study between sessions. Then we will continue the discussion. Among many other topics, we will explore these: World order based on Free Trade versus Protectionism. Democracy versus Property. The American identity. Tocqueville's "land of religious lunacy" versus a gentle faith. Ethnicity and race in American life. A globally deployed military versus an insular worldview. Went to the moon; now what? Globalization. The "American Dream." What was it? What is it now? Trump? The USA and the future.

Intercultural management including geography and ethnology
The diversity of the world is reflected in its states and peoples. Anyone who meets their representatives, for example while traveling, in the context of business contacts or as an emigrant, will sooner or later come across differences in behavior and experience. My course helps to prepare oneself to cushion the "culture shock" and to get along successfully with the other culture (the people or society or their individual members) in the long term. Through my many trips and professional practice, I was able to gain a lot of experience here, which I round off with my study knowledge and gladly pass on. The focus areas are Europe and Asia, but I can also mediate other regions.
