About Me

I love teaching and working with children. They are such a pleasure and watching them develop socially, emotionally and academically is so rewarding to see.

Through delivering primary workshops surrounding careers education, I have been delighted by the curiosity, creativity and spark which young children bring. This insight has motivated me to look into primary education, so that I can make a direct impact in managing the excitement and passions of young people and encourage them to think more imaginatively and analytically of the world around them. Moreover, I understand that primary education lays the foundation for the mental, social, intellectual, and emotional development of child, and that if certain problems are handled appropriately at these early stages, they can be resolved effectively at their later stages.I would therefore love to tutor children.

This class is about improving the skills needed for close, thematic reading of both old and more contemporary texts. Using overarching themes found across literature, as well as giving suggestions for other relevant texts, this class aims not only to help pass any exams, but to also enrich your understanding and appreciation of the subject.

Outside of exams, especially for any adults, this class can be a more freeform discussion of novels or poetry for anyone who wants to enjoy literature on a deeper level but isn't quite sure where to start or what avenues of thought to explore.

GCSEs are surprisingly easy once you understand what you need to do. In this class, I can teach English Literature, Language, Maths and Further Maths at GCSE level.

For English, we will go over exactly what the mark scheme needs of them, learn close reading / critical thinking skills, write essays with structures that will help them beyond Undergraduate level, and create a long term revision plan which will see them achieve their goals.

As a native speaker in both languages and as a linguaphile who took interest in learning other languages such as Spanish and Arabic, I am aware of the struggles that might come with attempting to learn a new language.
