Hi! My name is Lotta and I discovered my grandmother's accordion in the basement when I was 7 years old. Since then I have been playing the accordion enthusiastically. I've played at markets, Christmas parties, summer festivals, in nursing homes, on the street and now I want to teach you how to play the accordion. I love music and the variety that the accordion brings, which is why I play and teach with a lot of passion.
I also took piano lessons for a few years, which gave me even more knowledge about music and sheet music.

Are you enthusiastic about the accordion and would you like to learn this versatile instrument? Then you are right with me.
I teach beginners of all ages and adapt to your skill level and goals. I design the lessons individually because I know that everyone learns at a different pace. I design the lessons according to your wishes and goals so that you have fun learning.
We'll start with easy pieces so you can quickly gain a sense of achievement by playing the first few pieces HT.
If you can't read sheet music yet, that's no problem, I combine sheet music theory with playing the accordion. After a while you will be able to play individual pieces independently without help from the notes.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.

My offer is aimed at both young people and adults who want to learn German or improve their knowledge without wasting time on nonsensical school methods.

For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above.

You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland.
