Even so, learning Danish opens up the country - as well as one of the world's most job-rich environments - in a way that English does not. Knowing the language gives you an insight into the culture and the possibility of participating in it more actively.

Danish remains an important language in the North, being mutually intelligible with Swedish and Norwegian. With me as your teacher you get a skilled translator and linguist who has taught Danish for years, has lived in Norway and Sweden and studied Old Norse. I have a very deep understanding of the Danish and Scandinavian languages and a broad knowledge of all of the Germanic languages, speaking English and German fluently and a bit of Flemish. I have plenty of experience from the pupil's position as well having learnt French, Spanish, Serbo-Croatian and Russian myself. As such, I am open to suggestions from my pupils and willing to accommodate their wishes when teaching.
