    About Me

    Cheuky completed her master's degree in performance piano at Canterbury University (New Zealand) with honors and completed further training at the Liszt School of Music Weimar (Germany). She also holds a postgraduate diploma in accompaniment and accompaniment from the Wales International Academy of Voice (UK). Cheuky has received numerous awards and grants and has performed in New Zealand, the UK, Germany, Belgium and Malta.

    With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, Cheuky also holds a degree in teaching from Canterbury University, New Zealand. She is a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians ISM (UK). She has passed rigorous background checks and has a current Enhanced DBS certificate (UK). She has taught privately in her home and in numerous schools in New Zealand including same-sex / co-educational, public / private, secondary / elementary school.

    Cheuky can converse in English, German, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She has lived in the UK (Wales and England), New Zealand, Germany, Hong Kong and the USA. In addition to her ongoing music career, she has worked for the New Zealand Police Department, Walt Disney World, and as a volunteer for the Red Cross and City Mission. With such a diverse background, Cheuky can deal with people of all ages and from all walks of life.

    Cheuky currently lives in the UK and would like to connect with students from all over the world. She works with flexible hours to accommodate different time zones and teaches on both weekends and weekdays.
