Swahili commonly known as "Kiswahili " has the potential to forge strong trading ties between the people of eastern, central and Southern Africa and to promote cultural cohesion. If widely promoted in these regions, the language can single-handedly remove the artificial barriers and boundaries imposed by imperial powers.

I am able to customize the lessons based on the students' requirements. I am used to working with people of different ages. I believe in segmentation, visualization of progress, objective results and practice. Beyond these general lines, there is no rule or magic method. Swahili is a language spoken widely in East Africa. Recently it was accepted as an African Union language. It ihas a rich culture, interesting history, vocabulary and structure. The lessons are customized to individual needs or group needs. The classes accommodate beginners, learners in intermediate level and advanced level.

This course is designed to provide online tutoring services for individuals seeking to learn Swahili or English. The course will be delivered through a virtual classroom, and students will have access to a tutor who is a native speaker of the language they wish to learn. Course Objectives: To develop proficiency in the target language through conversational practice, vocabulary building, and grammar instruction. To improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in the target language. To provide cultural insights and context to enhance understanding and appreciation of the language. This is the continuation of the beginners course and leads to A2 + level. The course starts with a short review of the material from the beginners course and then continues with the more complex grammar. Topics that are discussed here include: the weather, the little words, safari, narrative, writing letters and topics related to your own destination. Speaking skills and writing skills become more important in these lessons. For example, it is expected that you can give a small presentation, and you will be challenged to do the emails to the teacher as much as possible in Swahili.

I comfortably teach Swahili to all ages, levels and competencies. My youngest so far being a 7 year old and the oldest a 74 year old. I make my lessons interesting each time. I incorporate a lot of sentence constructions and case scenarios so as to apply new vocabulary learnt in day to day lives. I use detailed notes and always sends them to the student after class for future reference. I give short quizzes once in a while to determine progress. My lessons are diversified.
