I started studying French at school and took my GCSE and A level qualifications in the language. I went on to study French at University for 4 years. As part of my degree, I lived in Nimes in the south of France for an academic year, teaching English in three primary schools.

I have recently completed my teaching qualification and taught French in two secondary schools and one sixth form college. Although my experience lies mainly with teaching young adults, I am passionate about helping anyone who has a desire to learn a language or simply needs help to gain a qualification.

As your tutor, I will listen to you about how you learn best, the topics or areas you need help with and how you think you will get the most out of our session. Most of all, you will see how dedicated I am and how much I enjoy teaching French.

Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
