Logic, formal languages, and automata theory for computer science
Experienced and patient teacher of logic for computer science. I have taught logic, formal languages and automata theory to undergraduates for six years. My tutoring is adapted to the student's level and goals. Whether you need to learn logic for your studies, or you would simply like to know more about the subject, I will be more than happy to help you improve your understanding and skills. Logic The sciences presuppose a certain standard of rationality. An ability to distinguish between correct reasoning and claims that do not follow from the assumptions. In this class we study the basic principles of logic and apply mathematical techniques to the study thereof. Topics include: Propositional and Predicate Logic Syntax and semantics Semantic Tableaux Natural deduction Correctness and soundness Completeness Formal languages and automata A formal language is an abstraction of general characteristics of programming languages. Such a languages consists of a set of symbols together with some rules to determine whether a string made up out of those symbols is a member of the language. Topics include: Regular languages, context-free languages Finite automata, pushdown automata, Turing machines Regular expressions Regular grammar, context-sensitive grammar Pumping lemmas for regular and context-free languages

Intro to Artificial Intelligence with Hands-On Examples
Artificial Intelligence is the branch of computer science that studies the autonomy of software systems by enabling adaptive behavior without direct programming. A.I. is popular nowadays due to the recent outstanding progress of Large Language Models (chatbots like ChatGPT), but that is only the tip of the field. Let’s dive together and explore the base of the iceberg that is A.I.: machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, search and optimization. Focus on hands-on and intuitive practical application guaranteed regardless of age or background!

Philosophy Classes for Curious Minds - Everyone Welcome!
Whether you are studying Philosophy and need assistance in capturing complicated philosophical problems or support in preparation for the exams (GCSE, A Levels, University level) or are simply interested in that exciting branch of knowledge, I am here to help! My name is Anna, and I am a qualified teacher (DET L5 diploma) with over ten years of professional experience in private tutoring (online and face-to-face) as well as classroom experience (RS & Philosophy) in the UK. Moreover, I hold degrees in Polish Philology and Philosophy. But what is most important is that I am passionate about teaching Philosophy to curious minds! Philosophy - 'the love of wisdom' - is a valuable tool for navigating the meanders of our everyday life. During our sessions, we will draw on the wisdom of the Ancients, learn the history of philosophical thought, and present the profiles of the most exciting philosophers, but above all, practice the disappearing art of dialogue. Moreover, logical, analytical and critical thinking skills - learning to think wisely - are useful in every other area of life. So, I invite you to this exciting journey through the centuries, continents and currents of thought to find out about the 'big questions' of Philosophy, World Religions and contemporary Ethics. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to message me. I am happy to tailor the session if you are interested in very concrete aspects of Philosophy, for instance, the notion of Freedom, Responsibility, or Friendship.

Learn to speak in public: rhetoric, public speaking, preparation for competitions, self-confidence.
Public speaking, rhetoric, the art of persuasion and verve are essential tools when one dares to speak in front of an assembly, in a debate at the table or during an individual interview (competition or job). As you can see, public speaking is a necessary weapon in this world which today is ultra competitive. The objective of this course is to gain self-confidence in speaking and to acquire fluency in speech and reasoning. What is learned can help in a professional, academic or informal setting. Public speaking trainer for 3 years and critical thinking trainer for a year I trained college students to master, in English and French with very varied levels.
