When I was a young child, I believed I was not a mathematical person. It wasn't until I met an amazing teacher at age 15 that I discovered my mathematical genius and my life was changed forever. I'm eternally grateful to that teacher. My teacher knew that self-image and self-belief is the key to unlocking your child's mathematical abilities. Everyone is good at maths, but we all have different styles of thinking. Bad teachers teach every child the same way. My job is to find your child's style of mathematics and allow him to discover that for himself. I have worked for 5 years now with kids from international schools who were "hating" maths because the methods used by their IB teachers were too complicated and hard to understand. I believe that no one is "not mathematical", we just have to find the way to approach the subject together; I have indeed a few teaching methods that can be adapted to a kids' needs, I believe every kid needs a different method to fully understand the subject. I provide 3 types of lessons that represent 3 phases: 1. THEORY - Understanding the theory behind the exercises, this phase is the shortest since I believe that to fully understand maths you need to exercise. 2. EXERCISES - Doing exercises divided by subject we. just went through in the theory part. 3. PAST PAPERS - Going through past papers to "simulate" a potential exam. Dividing the process in 3 phases has proven really effective in succeeding not only during the year but also at the final exams.

With more than six years of experience tutoring students from international schools, I have honed a unique and straightforward approach to learning and understanding science. In almost all the cases, my students were initially thinking that they lack the talent or skill to be good in Mathematics and/or Physics, that "they are not that type of person that can succeed in a particular field of studies". Solution of this problem is simple and obvious, explain them that it's not all about talent but constant improvement with smaller steps and hard work, and to try friendlier approach of teaching. So my first lesson is aimed at finding the key for the student. Having a tutor with a more flexible approach in teaching helps to build friendly relations with the student, so both of us will have willing to attend the next lesson:) It is very hard to keep this balance between being a strict teacher asking homework and a friend that you can text in the messenger outside the class just to discuss some TikTok trend. So I will try my best to get one more friend and successful student! The program of my course is flexible and depending on the final purpose (Preparation for the exam, improving marks in the school) and time that we have. My lessons are usually a little bit longer than one hour or two, because of the "learning curve phenomena" I always make 5-10 minutes break, specifically the online classes. After every lesson, I give the Homework to the student and at the beginning of every next lesson we are checking results, making corrections and I ask to explain the solution, if needed. My main goal is to make student not only understand the topic but also to make them able to explain the concept themselves, and obviously passing their exams :)

In my second year at AgroParisTech (France's leading agricultural engineering school) and coming out of two years of BCPST prep school, I learned the importance of having good working methods and finding one's own techniques for retaining information. It is these strategies that I want to share with students. I am a very good listener and I adapt easily, so I can follow the student's desires as well as the parents' expectations. I am an Spanish Aerospace Engineer graduated in Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, currently studying Mcs in Polimi, I have a huge experience as a teacher, specially for teenagers. I have been helping students since 2017. I can offer support in every Science Subject, in English or Spanish. My method is based on the understanding of the theory supported with practical work. My schedule is flexible and classes can be moved if it requires to.
