ZachariePrivate lessons of Solfège, Theory, Harmony Jazz
I propose courses of music theory (solfeggio) oriented Jazz. I followed for 10 years of classical music theory courses at the Conservatory of Toulon before deepening my knowledge by studying jazz harmony and arrangement with Nicolas Folmer (oriented modern jazz). I then received the theoretical education of Nicolas Dary at the Paris Conservatoire (oriented traditional jazz and be-bop). Finally, I took Vinz Vonlanthen's jazz solfege lessons (based on learning by singing and ear) and writing with Emil Spanyi in Lausanne.
I propose you a course based on the auditory comprehension (singing, melodic statement, harmonic statement, rhythmic reading) and intellectual of the musical process.
The latter is for students of all ages and all levels. We can discuss with beginners the basic principles of the Western tonal system. For the more advanced we will address the deeper analysis of the harmonic jazz system in order to give autonomy when the time comes to confront the main cadences and harmonic jazz grids. With the most confirmed we will be interested, analyzing in depth and thanks to a clear method, to all the main modern modal system (Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson, Gil Evans ...).

CaelainnViolin Lessons in Classical and Traditional Irish Music

SaraA concert pianist and PhD student giving piano lessons
Being naturally very skilled in sight-reading of music scores, I've realized numerous times how helpful and enjoyable can be to posses that "gift". Now, after being professor to many student of different level and aspiration, I can surely say that, despite their different ambitions in playing piano, all of them were very keen in learning how to be better in reading completely new and unknown music to them.
Currently, I'm developing an approach which could efficiently help one in understanding better the composition seen for the first time, through "scanning" analysis and use of logical patterns.
I'm a concert pianist with rich performing experience on worldwide stages, 1st prize winner of more then 30 international piano competitions in Europe and USA, holding Master and Postgraduate degree, currently finishing PhD and program for Concert musician at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
