I've been a drummer for almost 20 years now, and I've graduated from both Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music (classical percussion) and Mons Royal Conservatory of Music (pedagogy). I've been teaching percussion, the drums and music theory for a little more than 4 years now. My students are always the real actors of my courses. No matter what instrument you are learning, be it percussion, the drums, marimba, vibraphone, or music theory, I always pay close attention to your personal goals, and together we devise a unique learning plan that adapts to your strengths as well as your weaknesses. My courses are aimed at anyone who is willing to put effort into learning music; children or adults, complete beginners or more advanced players who wish to receive additional feedback and insight. Autonomy, creativity, curiosity and listening skills are the true pillars of my methodology. We pay as much attention to technique as to musicality or listening skills. Additionally, I provide tailored exercises, on-demand sheet music and transcriptions according to your needs, as well as additional resources and recommendations on my website to nourish your musical life and journey. Logic Pro is a powerful but complex software tool that can be used to create everything from very basic recordings and compositions, to huge professional productions. You'll learn all the skills you need to set up and use Logic Pro; how to record and edit audio, use software instruments and plug-in effects, and how to mix and process your sounds. Lessons can either be conducted online, or at my studio, if you're local to Plymouth (it's not in a restaurant, I don't know why it says that!) I've been using Logic Pro for almost 25 years and have taught it at University level.
