As an MSc Astronomy student, I work with mathematics every day, and over the years I’ve learned how to explain it in a way that feels clear and intuitive, not overwhelming. I am Saphira and I moved from Austria to the Netherlands 1,5 years ago to do my Master’s in Astronomy at Leiden University. I started tutoring in high school, where I helped my classmates and younger students in various subjects. My main strengths have always been German and Mathematics. Since I began tutoring in high school and have continued ever since, I now have 7 years of tutoring experience with children, teenagers, and university students.

My teaching style is structured, patient, and goal-oriented: I break topics down into clear steps, explain the “why” behind methods, and help you practice until you feel confident. Ik zal mij even kort voorstellen. Ik ben Saphira, 33 jaar en mama van 2 zoontjes en samen met mijn partner wonen we in Wateringen.

Sinds kort na mijn middelbare school-periode geef ik bijles in de vakken Economie, Wiskunde, Rekenen en Bedrijfseconomie. Dat is nu ruim 15 jaar!

Ik vind het onwijs leuk om leerlingen te kunnen helpen met deze vakken, waardoor ze meer zekerheid krijgen en de stof een stuk beter gaan begrijpen en daarmee dus beter voorbereid zijn op hun examens/tentamens.

As a tutor for GRE Quants, GMAT and SAT Quants, my class would focus on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies necessary to excel on these exams.

My name is Arjen, and I tutor and prepare for exams in math and physics for senior high school students. With a degree in Aerospace Engineering, I help students not only solve problems but also understand the "why" behind the theory.
