ChristianePrivate math lessons in French by shared interactive whiteboard
I give remote math lessons, in French, by shared interactive board for high school and high school students. I am an architect civil engineer and I have been teaching for 8 years. The most important thing for me is to personalize the lessons, to guide the student so that he understands the subject by himself, so that he manages to organize his work, to structure his reasoning, to manage his time, to manage his stress and finally to gain confidence in him. All this is done by adapting the course to its type of learning, putting all our energy to target and overcome blockages, and finally achieve autonomy. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to write me, I will be happy to answer you as soon as possible.
JulienPrivate Science Lessons - Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics
Dear student, I am a chemist graduated from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). I have always been fascinated by science and now I hold a doctorate in solid-state physics from the University of Geneva. Science subjects can help you pass exams. I have been teaching these disciplines for many years during exercise sessions held at the University as well as in private lessons given as an independent. For this reason, you will have the possibility to ask me for explanations on any subject. It is indeed useful that you can progress on the basis of what you already know. You will of course have the choice to ask me for remedial lessons to revise or discover entire chapters. Before the first lesson starts, I will invite you to explain your situation to me freely and free of charge so that we can work effectively from the first lesson. All scientific subjects have in common a method that is called "scientific logic". Whenever the opportunity arises, I will offer you elements of this method because it is this method that will allow you to understand durably and to solve the exercises rigorously. Your studies are serious business, demand that you be taken seriously. Best regards, Julien

TimothéePrivate lessons in mathematics - physics - chemistry
Often motivated students have academic difficulties, for the simple reason that they do not yet know how to work. My teaching method is to present the best concrete concepts behind formulas that may appear abstract at first glance. Once the student understands the concepts, exercise training will give him the ease he needs. As a student in Lausanne in geosciences, I am particularly comfortable with the scientific language. I propose courses of support all levels in mathematics, physics and chemistry. I have my driving license and a car, and especially a good bike, so I could move!
UmbertoUniversity researcher tutoring in Mathematics and Physics. Secondary school/university and casual learning. Including Cambridge STEP prep.
Hi! I am currently a post-doctoral researcher in computational biophysics, machine learning and computational biology at EPFL. I maintain two Python libraries for Topological Data Analysis and pyflagser. I have previously been a post-doctoral researcher in Mathematical Physics at the University of Bern, where my research was concerned with the interplay between quantum mechanics and Einstein’s theory of general relativity. I have been teaching at various levels since I was a PhD student at the University of York (UK), and more recently I was part of the cutting-edge educational project Isaac Physics in Physics/Maths/Chemistry at the University of Cambridge. Here is my teaching experience so far: - As a PhD student, I taught seminars in several of the undergraduate modules taught by the Department of Mathematics. In total, I have around 500 contact hours of experience in seminar teaching and marking, all of which I have found to be very rewarding. - As a PhD student, I jointly ran a course for talented high school student wishing to be admitted at high-rank universities, and in particular wishing to pass interviews and the STEP admission paper for entry at Cambridge. - As part of the Isaac Physics project, I created or helped create some of the online content such as theory pages, problems and books. In particular I helped put together a book on GCSE physics and one on A-level chemistry. Again as part of Isaac Physics, I gave seminars to a variety of high school students and interacted with local teachers to communicate the Isaac Physics philosophy and methodology. I also have some experience giving online YouTube webinars. - Throughout, I have been offering one-to-one tuition to A-level/IB students, university students and adult casual learners. I am happy to travel within about 4-5km of my postcode 1008 in Prilly. Alternatively, I can offer webcam lessons at a discounted price.

GrégoireMaths, physics and chemistry for students at the gym
[Online class in English or French] I know the subjects taught at the gymnasium well since I have already given private lessons to students via Apprentices and others for three years. I think I am a pedagogue since my students showed basic difficulties for the subjects I taught. And, after a few lessons, they caught up (and even exceeded) their classmates.

AinaraMath, Physics, Electronics/Electromagnetism, English and Spanish Tutor
1. Math classes: algebra, calculus, analytical geometry, complex variable and so on. All levels: basic, intermediate and advanced, 2. Physics: mechanics, electricity and electromagnetism, optics, fluidics and so on. All levels: basic, intermediate and advanced. 3. Analog electronics, RF engineering and matlab programming. All levels: basic, intermediate and advanced. 4. Languages: English and Spanish. All levels (from A1 to C2). My goal is to make the students to highly perform in their studies or academic career. The lessons mix theoretical concepts with practical ones. Especial emphasis is made on the concepts that are more difficult to understand for the students. Extra exercises taken from the literature or from my personal notes are practiced during the lessons in order the student to fix all the explained theoretical concepts. The key point for me is that the student is enjoying the time while is learning. Thanks to practical examples that I put during the lessons, taken from my professional experience in the bioengineering field, the students fix better in their brains the technical concepts.
LuigiWith me you can learn everything about theoretical and applied math
I provide (english) private math lectures for any level and kind of studies. I am an italian phd student in mathematics in EPFL. I have offered private lectures since 5 years and I really like to teach and to help people with math problems.
