Singing lessons in Lausanne in private or semi-private.

Program

Developing your voice, your ear, controlling your breath, improving your posture and gaining self-confidence: singing is certainly one of the most complete musical fields. By singing, the artist opens completely, he strips himself of all artifice and shares with his public an intimate moment, in the greatest honesty.

Objectives and skills

The singing lessons allow to develop the voice pose, the development of the artistic personality, the vocal technique and the development of the voice through various styles. Learn to master the head voice, chest voice and mixed voice as well as the various types of voice: belting, saturated voice, falsetto, ... in order to be comfortable in the different styles.

The body plays a central role in the singing technique. Thus, bodily and sensory work in space and, for some, the development of bodily presence on stage, are themes addressed during the lessons. We will also work on the ear, the accuracy and the improvement of the rhythm, as well as improvisation and song creation for advanced students who want it.

With Apolline, music theory is integrated into the instrument lesson, sparingly and in a manner consistent with the subject studied by the child. Thus, theory sticks to practice and becomes digestible and interesting.

Learning music with Apolline

How to leave the usually rigid framework of the first years of musical learning that is found in most schools in Switzerland?

Based in Lausanne, Apolline has a different philosophy. Rather than offering children and adolescents to learn in individual lessons, lessons in small groups - from 2 to 3 students, depending on the instrument - are highlighted. Working in a group offers many advantages to beginners or inexperienced students.

Apolline offers her students the possibility of joining a group workshop, in addition to the basic instrument course, so that they can play with other musicians of their age. Accompanied by a teacher, they will learn to play in groups, through covers or their own compositions.

About Me

An innovative concept, a clearly defined educational framework

Our establishment aims to be resolutely accessible to all and is not limited to teaching a single artistic field. Thus, students can take advantage of the different synergies and bridges built between the different disciplines. We help students meet, play and create together. With us they go further, they realize their projects and their dreams.

The setting and the atmosphere are particularly favorable to the pleasure of learning and developing one's creativity, in the full expression of one's own personality. However, our establishment offers students and their parents the guarantee of quality education, in a rigorous ethics, closest to the needs and motivation of each and every learner.

The teachers, for their part, fully adhere to the concept and philosophy of the school. They have a vocation and are passionate creatives, their natural desire to innovate is combined with strong teaching skills. Their great experience, respect, listening and constant attention, allow them to constantly watch the progress of their students. A flawless personal ethics makes them actors and not followers!

We also attach great importance to the quality of life of our employees. At our establishment, the management of the school is largely participative, taking advantage of a "horizontal" operating system, without a director. This operating principle, associated with other innovative operating methods, makes it possible to remunerate the teachers beyond what they could hope for in a traditional structure.

Education

Professional teachers with HEMU / ECAL / CERULEUM / ETC. (depending on the area taught). All are actors on the local and Swiss cultural scene.

Experience / Qualifications

The teachers are all benefiting from several years of experience already. They pass on with passion and stick to the philosophy of our school, which is to accompany students beyond a simple music or visual art lesson.

Program To acquire the tools necessary for drawing according to model, the teacher will teach you techniques which allow above all to exercise your gaze. He offers you a path adapted to your objectives and accompanies you in your stylistic quest by transmitting strategies offering you the possibility of finding a way of drawing that suits you. Objectives and skills At the end of this course, you will have developed technical skills (construction of space, structure of the human anatomy, distribution of shadows and lights, dynamics of the body in movement) and identified the challenges of this approach. The practice of observational drawing will also lead you to a better understanding of your perceptual intelligence. Finally, it will invite you to make use of faculties that are usually not very mobilized, thus thinning the link between body and mind. This course is aimed at both novices and beginners. You can bring your equipment, but will also find what you need on site. The price includes a package for the engagement of the models.

Singing lessons in Lausanne and Pully by student from a high school of music
For any singing practice, whether variety singing (pop, rock) or opera singing, part of the singing course should ideally incorporate practical work on technique and vocal anatomy. I therefore propose to start by warming up the body and the voice, which allows you to connect to yourself, to your breath. Gradually, the intensity rises, we are therefore heated, and we can then approach the pieces that the student wishes to learn. Vocalization is for me a moment with oneself, a kind of mindfulness meditation. Singing causes a very enjoyable inner vibration. Sometimes I like to start with music that inspires the student and build technical work through that. My lessons contain a "music theory" part that I adapt according to the needs and desires of each student. The more the student is aware of his body and his breath, the more he will have control of his voice, and therefore, always more joy! Being a pianist myself, I accompany the warm-up exercises on the piano, which gives considerable support to the student, as well as the songs and pieces that the student is working on.

PRIVATE LESSONS SINGING ALL LEVELS EVEN BEGINNERS
Graduated from a Bachelor in Lyric Singing at the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne, I offer singing lessons. For more than 7 years, I have been giving lessons in a private setting and already have many rich educational experiences which are also a source of personal development for me. I am now starting a Master in Pedagogy specializing in the discipline of singing. I have also had the chance to perform in professional group or solo concerts and in several styles of music (Classical, jazz...). I adapt to the expectations of each student to the tastes of each, in different musical styles: Lyrical, Variety or Jazz singing. The practice of singing remains a pleasure that I like to share with others. My goal is also to make you technically evolve and make you aware of all your potential and your ability to progress. Any body capable of speaking can sing, it suffices to train it. ;) I am a pianist and I will also know how to accompany you (if you already practice an instrument and that you accompany yourself: it would be a joy to combine the two disciplines). I come to your home, in Lausanne, Morges, Rolle, Renens, Vevey and everywhere else around Lausanne. I look forward to discovering your voices and meeting you.

Ornella
Professional singing lessons, scenic work and various techniques
Trained in classical singing and modern music, my lessons are for all those who want to flourish through the voice, because it contains a whole world. Feel, understand what we say, what we feel and the emotion we want to convey. My singing teacher at the conservatory said ... try not to control your voice anymore, she instinctively knows what is right. And we know it's just because then singing becomes easy, effortless, like breathing. Do you want to progress and have guaranteed results? To be able to sing in public without the performance anxiety and just be on stage and no longer short circuit yourself with useless and sterile thoughts. To be free, just the public and you... And the message you want to convey? So we will get there together. Classically and modernly trained, I was part of a group, The Ladies Sing, which performed several times at the Montreux Jazz Festival. After a large number of solicitations, I decided to embark on the world of teaching. Transmit and share with my students my love for singing, the basic techniques and my experience. Listening to the body, raising the voice, surpassing oneself, while taking care of one's own vocal cords. First of all, I teach the student to listen to oneself and feel. They are the first keys, the other techniques such as breathing or support come next. There is no point in imitating this or that singer, everyone has their own vocal identity... And it is this identity that I will help them discover.

Discover your voice: professional singer, graduate in pedagogy, gives singing lessons for adults and children
Express yourself, breathe, support your voice: a singing lesson has many technical and artistic facets. With a master's degree in vocal pedagogy, it seems essential to me that learning music is a pleasant, motivating and enriching learning! Whatever your age, your level, whether you want to sing opera or musical comedy, do not hesitate to contact me for a lesson. How is a singing lesson going? The first half of the course is generally dedicated to the work of the body and breathing, essential for singing, and to the vocalizations necessary for a good technical work (we will address the questions of voice placement, support, resonance, treble ...). The second part of the course is devoted to one or more pieces. It is a question of applying the technical elements, but also, through the work of the repertoire, of developing your own musical personality and your expressiveness... and above all of making yourself happy! Regarding the repertoire: I give lessons in lyrical singing and musical comedy. I can integrate musical training / ear training courses, especially through improvisation. My journey : Lyric singer, I have passionately given music lessons for over ten years. My taste for teaching led me to a Master's degree in Pedagogy, and I graduated in 2019 from the Haute Ecole de musique de Lausanne. Independent teacher, I share my life between my students (singing lessons, music theory, piano, group or individual lessons, internships ... with adults and children) and concerts. I specialize in baroque music, but I also really enjoy musical comedy and improvised singing. Throughout my singing studies, in addition to my training as a soloist, I sang a lot in choir, which allowed me to often perform in concert and to record several discs, one of which was awarded a tuning fork. Golden. In order to complete my musical studies, I also followed a course in music theory and piano. I also took training in Qi Gong and Pilates, two sports disciplines that are very useful for singers.

Cheslava
Piano and Singing tutor with 5 years experience and professional education
From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
