BernardPiano and music theory classes. Classical / jazz. Berklee graduate.
I offer piano and music theory lessons in English, French and Spanish in the Lausanne area.
I graduated "summa cum laude" from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston majoring in film scoring and composition, minoring in conducting and with piano as my main instrument.
Currently my main activity is writing music for films but I have been teaching piano lessons since 2012 and love it! My Berklee education gave me a very solid education, both performance and theory wise, in many different music styles ranging from classical to jazz and rock.
My teaching philosophy is based on enjoyment of the music we create, enjoyment of the learning process, and on developing the ear. This allow the student, from any age, to start expressing themselves very quickly. My students start working hard not because I ask them to, but because they love it!
In addition of the piano part I can also give classes in classical or jazz theory, composing, improvising or music technology. I am also happy to mix any of those.
I have a Bachelor in Piano Orientation Music. I studied piano first in Valais at Mrs Barbara Borse, then at Mrs Magali Bourquin in Lausanne and I concluded my Bachelor studies with Mr Christian Favre.
I teach for 2 years in Lausanne in private homes. I have also made substitutions in various schools.
My main goal as a teacher is to open the world of music to the student and teach him a solid foundation so that he can be as independent as possible in his work. That's why parallel to the piano course I also propose an instruction to harmony and of course music theory.
I therefore welcome students of all ages beginners, students who wish to take the piano, students who wish to enroll in the conservatory thereafter or students with bases who want to improve.
I am in possession of a vehicle and therefore moves easily even outside Lausanne.
Spoken languages: German, French, Spanish, English

MarcoLearn piano and music theory while having fun
Hello good evening apprentice musician apprentice musician, I live in Lausanne but it is surely not that which interests you the most, I am 20 years old and it is 8 years that I play the piano, 2 years that I teach. I was at the Conservatoire de Lausanne and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. I am used to very different profiles, and I adapt to the wishes of each student (technical work, choice of songs ...), the practice of music must remain a pleasure, in my opinion, even if the we want to reach a certain level! I would be delighted to teach the novice step by step the piano and solfeggio at the request of the student. I am open to any style! I already have a little experience as a teacher, I really like that, I'm listening and patient, my schedules are currently rather flexible, if it should change I'll do it anyway know. Work well but most of all have fun!

StefanoPiano, music theory and musical appreciation
This course offers piano instruction as well as music theory. Basic basic level for small children and advanced for students at the conservatory. Also we propose a part to speak about musical appreciation, of all the eras of the history of the music. For all ages!
These will be courses to work on the piano (beginners and intermediate) while we are talking about the theory of music and also a moment to listen to recordings and talk about musical appreciation! It's an hour to have fun, learn and discover.
Classes can be given in French, Spanish or English.
Young violinist and pianist graduated from the National Conservatory of Paris and the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne gives violin, piano and solfege lessons to children, teenagers and adults of all levels.
Master student at the Lausanne University of Music in the jazz department
My classical initial training opened me the basics of music theory, harmony, instrumental technique. In parallel with my classical apprenticeship, at the age of 13, I trained in contemporary music such as jazz, Latin and folk music that are part of my origins and other styles that result from pop, variety, hip hop ...
My pedagogy adapts to the needs and envy of each student and focuses on the notion of rhythm, autonomy and pleasure. It is possible to work on the more classical and technical aspect of the instrument which requires a solfegic base or the more improvised and harmonic aspect of the instrument (singers wishing to be accompanied) using the science of chords. Generally, for all young beginners, I divide the course into two parts, one solfegic and the other practice to prepare the child beginner approaching the instrument.
My class schedules are quite flexible
Do not hesitate to contact me for more questions.
