Trusted teacher: Today, you can create an animated film from start to finish from home without depending on others. My methodology is based on this idea and it works! The only prerequisites to follow my training: open-mindedness, super-motivation and being ready to spend long hours drawing behind your computer/tablet independently. My animation style is based on frame by frame: that is, all character animations are drawn frame by frame. If you love anime (Japanese cartoons), look no further, I'm your man! Beginners are welcome, as are intermediate artists who would like to explore an alternative approach to that of animation studios (freelancers, students who wish to pursue their passions on the side). For animation, I prefer to start classes from age 12. (For young people who want to learn illustration, it is possible to take lessons with me from the age of 7.) We will look at the different stages: - Introduction (scriptwriting/storyboarding/cinematics for intermediate levels) - Creation (voice/music insertion/backgrounds/animation) - Finalization (post-compositing/audio and video effects) For the moment, I can only offer lessons at your home (Laeken/Brussels). The good news is that you don't need to invest in any computer equipment. I have everything I need at home. Programs: Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, After Effects and Auditiion. (Clip Studio can be replaced with Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate or TV-Paint if necessary) Personally, I think it's more productive to take at least 90 minutes per session, but I leave that up to you.

Very involved in the chamber music repertoire, Gabriele founded in 2018 with the pianist Julien Lejeune the Duo Aréthuse, in which they explore the romantic French and contemporary Italian repertoire, in search of an interpretation marked by accuracy, simplicity and of modernity. They are at the initiative of the creation in 2019 of the Hellens Ensemble, consisting of a string quartet, a piano and a lyrical singer, an ensemble with which they are interested in Belgian music and more particularly to the repertoire with voice. Gabriele also studied at the University of Padua at the Faculty of History and Musicology.

Thiago - Brussels42€
Trusted teacher: As an experienced music teacher, I offer recorder and music theory lessons for children and adults of all ages and skill levels! Originally from Brazil, I have been teaching music for several years. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have extensive experience as a music teacher, having given private lessons and taught in music academies in Belgium and elsewhere. I develop a unique method for each student so that they can learn in a solid and enjoyable way. The recorder is an easy instrument to learn, making it a great opportunity for children to begin their musical journey. It provides an initial introduction to musical notation and helps develop their ear. I offer students a fun and dynamic learning experience, where music is made from the very first lesson. For adults... If you're a beginner, don't worry! I will teach you how to produce the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow correctly, how to adopt a good posture, etc. I will help you build, step by step, a solid basic technique that will allow you to play any piece on the flute. If you are an advanced student or already possess a solid foundation in your instrument, I propose working on refining your technique, taking into account each repertoire. We will explore creativity and sound to produce an increasingly beautiful and eloquent musical expression. Lessons can take place at the student's home or the teacher's home in Forest. Travel expenses are negotiable depending on the distance. Feel free to contact me to discover this magnificent instrument! Bastien - Brussels29€
Trusted teacher: [ENGLISH, SEE BELOW] A music theory course for anyone who wants to start with a solid foundation in music, or for an already advanced musician who wants to go further. This course is also perfect for an academy or conservatory student who wishes to prepare for the music theory exam. Despite the fact that this is a so-called theoretical course, everything that is seen will first be worked on in a musical context and experienced by the student in order to be assimilated. The theoretical explanations will follow from it by itself. On the program (student's choice) - Ear training (knowing how to rewrite melodies with one or more voices, chords, etc.) - Note readings in one or more keys - Rhythm readings, polyrhythmic work - Encryption and recognition of agreements, - Transposition. This musical theory lesson suits to every level, from the one who wants to learn how to read music to the one who wants to know more about chords, transposition or polyrythms. This lesson is also perfect for a student who wants to prepare an examination. In despite the fact I called these lesson "Musical theory", it is firstly about understanding the music. And that can only be possible by ... doing music. So be aware that we will be singing, playing chords, clapping rhythms, ... My purpose is that the student understand by himself first, then the theory will come naturally. What we can do during a lesson (student can choose): - Ear training (Learn to catch a melody of one or several voices and write it down by ear, recognizing chords, recognizing rhythms, ...) - Rythmical work: learn to clap different rhythms in different time signatures. Also included polyrythms. - Key reading, in one or several keys. - Transposition (learn how to read a flute sheet while you're playing trumpet, ..)

Charlotte

rating green star
Charlotte is a superb instructor. I took classes with her at her home for several months to improve my public speaking skills. During each session, Charlotte helped me work on my tone and delivery through various public speaking exercises. Charlotte asked me to prepare short written assignments before our meetings, so that I could practice delivering my script using various speaking techniques during the class. For these assignments, Charlotte was very engaged and made sure that the assignments would assist me in my specific professional goals. She did this by tailoring the subject matter to my professional work - mostly legal and political matters - and she pushed me to consider what I wanted to achieve from my audience with each speaking opportunity. Charlotte, however, is not only a skilled professional. She is also a tremendously kind, energetic and dynamic person to work with. She made me feel comfortable sharing my vulnerabilities, which made the process of receiving constructive feedback a fun and welcomed experience. She encouraged me to practice my public speaking in French - which is not my first language - and made me feel at ease. She is kind, understanding and an incredibly nice person. If you are looking for a professional who is dedicated to helping you improve, welcomes your goals and ideas, and who is a pleasure to meet with each week - then look no further than Charlotte.

Klaudia is a very positive, encouraging, warm teacher who is well organised with her lessons. The learning objectives were based on the specific knowledge I asked her to teach me and she was flexible to incorporate other elements that I needed along the way. Her grammatical knowledge of both German and English is exceptional and I would 100% recommend her to anyone.

Maddie

We had two wonderful dance lessons with Maddi. In just those two sessions, she taught us a beautiful choreography that truly impressed all our wedding guests. Maddi was incredibly flexible and attentive to our personal wishes. We’re endlessly grateful to her for creating such a fantastic choreography for us despite our very limited time and last-minute request.
