My name is Berk and I'm a Turkish resident in Badhoevedorp. I'm a professional CELTA (Cambridge University) certified English language teacher with a degree. I have a lot of experience with different age and level groups. Therefore, I can offer tailored lessons to your needs, which are varied from developing certain language skills such as speaking, listening for specific information, vocabulary, grammar or intensive reading to getting ready for different job interviews, including STAR method.

My first priority is to provide the learners with a learning environment in which communicative approach is essential. This means students feel a need and purpose to speak in my classes. By the way, I can speak Dutch at beginner level and communicate with people in a simple way.

My skills and experience also originate from the tech industry, publishing and the marketing sectors, all of which have added great value to my knowledge and are currently in transition. Since I have also been producing content and managing projects several magazines, newspapers, and websites for a long time, I'm qualified to make the learners ready for not only further education but also business life in both a local and an international environment.

It is my passion to see students increase their self-awareness for their own futures through their language skills.

There isn't a better way to teach your child a new language than through playing. My job is to introduce the English, French, or Arabic language while your child is discovering and learning to make sense of the world around them. Through play, children have more capacity to develop linguistic, social, and communication skills, and gain the self-confidence they need.
My job is to play with the child while using the new language vocabulary; as an example, we can play the Zoo game and learn the names of the animals, the noise they make, the food they consume, and where they live in the wild.
While we play, we can use toys, pictures, songs, videos, and house objects such as fruits and vegetables.
We can play inside or outside in a safe environment.
I have a program that I developed to help my child learn a language and have fun at the same time. It consists of games, reading books, and role-playing in different themes such as ( Food, Animals, Numbers, Alphabet, Colors, Geography, Nature, Technology, Outfits... )
This program can be discussed and edited by the parent according to their child's needs and level.

4. How can I help you?

I'm of mixed French and Polish origins and I've been living in Paris for many years. I hold a PhD degree in French Literature from Sorbonne University and I've been teaching French and English since 2013. Learning languages are always more fun when involving an interaction based on personal interests!
