About Me
My name is Augustas. I have been playing/ studying cello for fourteen years. For the last five years, I've been studying at Sibelius Academy with prof. Martti Rousi. I have won multiple competitions, participated in many high-level festivals and every year I have quite a few solo recitals.
My path as a teacher began in 2017 as I found it very challenging, interesting and rewarding. I found myself discovering tons of new exercises, etudes, pieces as well as teaching philosophies. For me the most important factor in learning an instrument is joy. Doing anything with joy makes the progress faster, and easier and brings much more happiness.
