About Me

I am an experienced language teacher, born in Hasselt and a native Dutch speaker. Having grown up in Flanders and received solid pedagogical training—complemented by courses in diction, public speaking and theatre—Dutch is not only my mother tongue; it is a language I master with precision, both linguistically and orally.

Education

My training is built on a Master's degree from KU Leuven, a teaching qualification for secondary education, ongoing professional development by the ministry of education, as well as expertise as a translator‐interpreter. I have also benefited from specialized training in the various private schools where I have taught, further strengthening my pedagogical and linguistic proficiency.

Experience / Qualifications

Since 2005, I have been teaching Dutch in a variety of contexts: private lessons, compulsory education, language‐immersion programs, as well as in well‐known institutions such as the Académie des Langues, the CLL and My Sherpa. I am also a sworn translator‐interpreter for the Dutch language, which further strengthens my rigor and sensitivity to linguistic nuance.
As a self‐employed professional with complementary status, I work within a fully declared framework and am up to date with my UCM contributions.
