- Left / right hand coordination and rhythm exercises for the right hand

Note :
- Possibility to use the guitar available on site, during the test phase.
- As our teacher is also a singing teacher, it is possible to combine the two disciplines: guitar + vocal instrument, and to work on synchronization, style and accuracy.
- Possibility of offering this course (birthday, party, Christmas, event ...) to the person of your choice.
THE TEACHER :
Trained in Grande Ecole post-preparatory classes & Ivy League university in the United States, our teacher has specialized and has worked for more than 15 years, in Europe and North America, in the field, in renowned international public and private establishments, with careful pedagogy and methodology as the watchwords.
PLACES :
- Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Friborg-Neuchâtel-Montreux-Bâle-Sion-Sierre-Morges-Bienne. But currently, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). At your request, I therefore continue to offer them.

CELLO & MUSIC LESSONS FOR ALL AGES AND LEVELS WITH A PROFESSIONAL CELLIST WITH 10 YEARS OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE (IN PERSON AND ONLINE)Are you in love with the sound of the cello but have never dared to start playing it?
Have you been playing the cello as an amateur and now need an expert to guide you?
Do you want to develop and improve your cello and musical skills?
Do you need reinforcement lessons?
Would you like to prepare for entrance exams to the conservatory?
Would you love to join a youth orchestra and need help preparing for the auditions?
...
These are the private cello lessons you were looking for!
My name is Miriam, I am a graduate in Master of Classical Music at KASK & Conservatorium in Ghent and currently I am studying a Posgraduate in Musical Performance Practice.
I've been teaching cello to children, teenagers and adults for 10 years, so I've acquired the necessary experience to be able to adapt to the different and personal needs and objectives of each student. My teaching methodology focuses on creating a friendly and relaxed environment (which does not mean undemanding!) in which students feel confident to express their own ideas and worries. In my lessons I focus on technical and postural questions, but we also reflect together on the music, as I like my students to develop their own musical ideas and not just imitate the teacher.
Contact me now to schedule your first lesson and take the first step toward your musical aspirations! :)

Saxophone lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced musiciansAre you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁
I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,...
After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw!
Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc.
Book a lesson and try! If you are not happy, give me a feedback and go on. If you are happy, I will be happy to help you becoming a good musician!

Guitar lessons and/or music theory Ghent and surroundings. Flexible teacher, available outside class hours for questions/examples/extra exercises.Whether you are just starting out with guitar or have been playing for a while, I can work with you to find a suitable formula.
All my lessons are adapted to the individual needs of my students and can take place in my living room at home or at yours. We choose together what we work on. Being able to read notes is certainly not a requirement.
If you have any questions or problems after the lesson, or perhaps you quickly get through the exercises I gave, I am also available for further explanation with possibly a video and/or extra exercises.
I started teaching guitar and music theory as a freelancer in 2019 and it continues to give me great satisfaction to see my students forge their own path as musicians. I wouldn't trade this for a job in the world.
I myself have a jazz education but have always played a wide range of genres. Nowadays you hear me playing mostly progressive rock and metal.
Please do not hesitate to ask your questions and I will answer them as soon as possible.
See you soon!

The cello for beginners or more advanced (children or adults)Music is a hobby just like it can be a profession in its own right. It is important when you are starting out or when you are more advanced to take lessons with a natural person who can give examples, advice and offer good follow-up.
Master's student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have nearly 20 years of instrument practice. I offer a complete but fun approach to the discipline. Whether on the instrument or just to learn music theory. I am not confined to one style of music as long as I have the scores to be able to work effectively. I would be able to introduce people to music or reinforce the basics for more advanced people. I offer teaching adapted to the level and desires of the student:
Thus, I can introduce the world of music and instrumental practice to beginners or enrich and deepen this practice (with a view to preparing for exams, working on orchestral parts for example) for the most advanced students. . I can travel if not too far but I teach at home. Looking forward to making music with you 😊

Guitar - Graduated with a master's degree in classical guitar from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, offers lessons for all levels.I work in detail. I pay particular attention to the student's position so that they don't have any muscle problems. I encourage students to play whatever they like if the difficulty of the piece matches the student's level. I play pieces for students to introduce them to the classical guitar repertoire.

Jazz Double Bass / Improvised Music and Electric Bass lessonsThe Contrabass is a marvelous instrument: powerful, subtle, demanding, astonishing.
Graduated from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris in Jazz specialty and teacher (private individual / replacement in conservatory) for 4 years, I suggest you dive into the heart of his universe.
For this I appreciate relying on a flexible method putting the passion and envy of my students at the forefront.
Meet, establish a dialogue and move forward together towards a common goal: to have fun while making progress!
My horizons:
-The jazz double bass (walking bass, improvisation, sounds, repertoire, rhythm, theory ..)
- the "general" technique (body position, right hand, left hand, flexibility, etc.)
-the classical double bass (sound of the bow, phrasing, study of pieces ...)
- "contrabassistic" culture (operation of the instrument, the undisputed masters, the repertoire in the broad sense ...)
I am also an electric bass player (another wonderful instrument) graduated from the Marne and Chantereine conservatories.
My method remains the same and I love to teach (and constantly learn) the greatest number of styles, repertoire, ranging from Rock to Funk through Pop, hip hop and Cuban music.
All levels and all ages welcome!
Classes can be taught in French, English or Italian.
Robin.
