I would like to share the Chinese language and culture to everyone who wants to learn. I give lessons for all levels and ages, both oral and written according to the needs and interests of the students. I can conduct the course in English or French. * The course takes place either at my home in the 17th or at your home.

The course in Italian, divided into several sections between phonetics, grammar, and vocabulary, aims to provide students with the basics of every day Italian, ensuring them a good command of the essential vocabulary, useful to support both the conversation, understand written Italian and knowing how to write texts in this language.

I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker. Growing up, I've spoken the language in my household, with parents and relatives and I've also took Chinese classes to further improve my understanding of the language throughout college. My class with my unique teaching method is suitable for students of all ages! I'm able to work with adults and children alike in improving their conversational Chinese language. I have been tutoring French and English for the past 20 years to students of various ages & origins and of numerous backgrounds: children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and also sometimes even older seniors (85+). Why am I teaching both languages? Well, I’m bilingual and of American & Swiss/French origins, and... I live in Ireland! This is what makes my teaching strong and relevant because I understand both cultures and therefore I can adapt my classes depending on the language of my students. While I was studying social work in French-speaking Switzerland, I was giving French/English private lessons in order to earn a side income. And I genuinely enjoyed it doing it! After I graduated and started working full-time, I didn’t give up this activity because I loved meeting new people and helping them achieve their goals. My teaching is always interactive in order to hold my students’ attention during the whole length of the classes, using numerous learning tools (photos, newspaper articles, music, videos, etc.) Naturally, I will focus on the priority of each student. Some students will want to improve their pronunciation, grammatical, and vocabulary skills, others will need to prepare a presentation or a speech at school/work, while others just want to learn a new language to enrich their general knowledge. And sometimes too, parents want their younger children to master a new language. Thanks to my education and experience with children, I’m also able to run a class dedicated to them! What you will gain from my course is not only good pronunciation and vocabulary/grammar improvement but also a deeper knowledge and understanding of the culture that surrounds one language! When you speak a language it’s important to appreciate the lifestyle, traditions, and heritage of the nation(s) speaking it. Both French and English are spoken in many countries around the world, as primary languages, and with so many different accents: the learning process is unlimited! Before the COVID restrictions, I was mainly teaching face-to-face and with a maximum of four students, but at the moment, I’m only teaching online (one-and-one) on Zoom. Besides that, I’m also a genealogist, I’m running Spiritual Seminars in the West of Ireland and I have a passion for vegetarian & vegan cuisine. I hold a Degree in Early Childhood Education for many years I owned a private “Before & Afterschool” facility for children aged 4 to 12. I’m looking forward to meeting you

Giving my background in Foreign Languages and Literature as my bachelor study, and Adult and Continuing Education as my master degree, I gain great professional abilities in languages and education. Literature in English language is a very broad term. The biggest number of popular English language texts comes from the USA and the UK, however, there are many other places where English is spoken as a native language and interesting texts are produced. You can learn with me the following subjects: 1. American literature (including native American literature). 2. British literature (including Welsh and Scottish literature). 3. Selected areas of literature in English from Canada, Australia, India and South Africa.

For the Chinese conversation in my class, we would role-play and you can try to speak more and more as you can. Don't be afraid to say something wrong. I invite you to make more and more mistakes when you use this language in my class. If you make more mistakes, you can learn more from them and be more impressive. I would help you so no worries!
