I am here to teach KS3 and KS4 maths specializing in IGCSE exams. I have been teaching Maths now for up to 4 years in International Secondary schools. My classes are based on what the student asks for or requires. If the students let me decide I will follow the curriculum that they are on and maximize that.

I am a MSc in Civil Engineering, M.Sc in Finance and Economics, and an MBA graduate with over 14 years of experience teaching Mathematics up to the undergraduate level. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of students and have successfully helped them excel in their studies. In addition to my extensive teaching background, I have more than 7 years of experience guiding students through standardized tests such as the GRE and SAT. My goal is to help you master these tests with effective strategies and a clear understanding of the subject matter.

I am currently a third year student in pre-med at Erasmus University College, and a second year in mechanical engineering at TU Delft. I am proficient in teaching in English and can explain stuff in Dutch, but at a slightly slower pace as it is my second language. I can essentially tutor all STEM subjects with a week's notice due to my coursework in almost all field but here is a list I am most comfortable with: Mathematics, Physics, Biology (not plant biology), Chemistry, Computer science (Matlab and Python), principles of engineering design (including SolidWorks) and Economics. My previous experience with teaching is both at a university level as an education and research assistant for Behavioural Economics, and as a part-time high school teacher for biology and Mathematics.
In my free time, I like to play tennis and grab a drink with my friends – I am extremely compassionate, but I value my time and hope that you can match my enthusiasm in class. I did the IB program in high school and scored a 42.

Mijn naam is Edgar (31), ben afgestudeerd aan de Erasmus Universiteit in Economie en Bedrijfseconomie.
Wiskunde (en vroeger rekenen) is altijd met sterkste vak geweest, heb er nu eenmaal aanleg voor.
Ik heb een fulltime baan als locatie manager bij een recycling bedrijf, maar wil graag een extra inkomstenstroom genereren om eventueel eerder te kunnen pensioneren.
In het verleden heb ik al bijles gegeven, dus ik heb er ervaring mee.
Ik help je graag met je wiskunde huiswerk, of voorbereidingen op toetsen.

Ik ben zelf basisschool juf geweest (als stagiaire) waardoor ik weet hoeveel kinderen moeite hebben met rekenen. Ik vind het erg leuk om les te geven en daarom bied ik me aan als bijlesdocent in onder andere rekenen. Uiteraard kan ik ook bijles geven in alle andere basisschoolvakken.
