Trusted teacher: Regardless of your level of knowledge and age, I welcome applications from those who feel enthusiastic about learning music, be it an elementary school child, an enthusiastic newbie, or a dedicated adult who is just starting out in music. In an atmosphere full of attention, support and enthusiasm, I strive to give everyone the most effective help in their development. 🙂 I also go home to teach on demand, but I also welcome students in the 12th district on a beautiful, renovated Bösendorfer piano. *** My lessons are practice-oriented, in which musical skills development exercises, learning new works and creating one's own repertoire, improvisation exercises, and the establishment of the necessary theoretical / formal background are included. For all my students, I think it’s important that at the beginning of our work together, we find, first and foremost, the path that makes music learning a rewarding, successful process. *** I myself am currently primarily working as a concert organist and a doctoral student at the Academy of Music, Budapest. I graduated from the Liszt Academy Budapest and the Paris Conservatoire. I lived in Japan for a year, during which time I was able to fill the position of resident organist at the Kitara Concert Hall in Sapporo. My first solo album was released in 2020. In 2021, I won the First Prize and the Audience Prize at the 13th International Organ Competition in Toulouse, France. I regularly participate as a soloist in domestic and international symphony orchestras and choirs. I really like teaching and dealing with people. During my more than a decade of teaching experience, I have been able to meet a wide variety of students from the age of 6 to the age of 70. I have very good memories of all my students. I lived in Paris for two years, a year in Japan, during which I was able to gain serious insight into the education systems of both countries. Building on my studies at home, my international experience has had a decisive impact on me and has shown me many new directions in music teaching. I hope I piqued your interest. I look forward to hearing from you! Adam

Trusted teacher: I received a bachelor’s degree University College London, a master’s degree at the London School of Economics and a PhD in international relations at London Metropolitan University. I have taught at high school, undergraduate and post-graduate levels: in high schools and universities in the United States, as well as in universities in the United Kingdom and Hungary. I have guided many students through their GCSE, IB and Oxbridge exams. I have also helped prepare students taking standardized tests such as the ISEE, SHSAT, ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT and LSAT. I have taught classes and tutored students in fields as diverse as history, political science, international relations, law, mathematics and English language. I enjoy teaching, and his students have consistently recorded great improvements in their test scores following classes with him. He has taught online as well as in-person, large classes as well as students one-on-one. My favorite curriculum to teach is the IB, precisely because it emphasizes the interdisciplinary academic approach that he has always followed. Among the IB subjects I teaches are Mathematics and Economics. I also teach Theory of Knowledge and guide students over the Extended Essay. My approach to education is as follows: “Education is a passion of mine. There is nothing more satisfying than the experience of imparting knowledge, wisdom or even a learning technique to another person. It is particularly pleasing when this transmission leads to an enormous improvement in the life of another. That a student has succeeded in passing a test and, as a result, has been admitted to a school or university or even business school or law school that he or she had only vaguely dreamed of is immensely gratifying. “I enjoy inspiring students to learn more, to want to know more, to strive for more. Because my concern is exclusively an improvement in their lives, my students have always responded well to me. As a consequence, from the moment they begin studying with me their results and test scores start to improve dramatically. My teaching is always focused on the student's individual needs and his particular aptitudes. I devise my curriculum and teaching program around those, always keeping in mind that each student is different and what works with one student will not work with another.”
