About Me

My name is Andreu Vidal, and I am a professional trumpet player currently working as Principal Trumpet of the Belgian National Orchestra. Alongside my orchestral career, I enjoy sharing my experience with students who are serious about improving their playing.

Brass lessons !

Will came to international attention after winning the 2012 ITEC (International Tuba and Euphonium Conference) Young Tuba Artist Com petition in Linz Austria at the age of 15. Following this, he received invi- tations to Italian Brass Week 2012 and studies followed with Roger Bobo, Roland Szentpali and Andreas Hofmeir.

In 2013. Will became the first British Tuba player to play in recital at the Bartok Conservatoire in Budapest and also at the Festival Interna- cional de Musica Arona Tenerife. He resumed his studies with Roger Bobo at the prestigious Weimar International Master class series 2013 and was invited to play Ralph Vaughn Williams Tuba concerto with the Jaener Philharmonie in the Neue WeimarHalle

Will was accepted in 2015 and 2016 as a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester.

Will is a Buffet Group Artist and exclusively plays on B&S and Melton/Meinl Weston Tubas.
