My focus is mainly on having a conversation in Mandarin Chinese. I was raised bilingually so my Chinese pronunciation is as good as my Dutch. My family is from Beijing, which is why my accent is 'pure'. A description of the lesson is mainly having conversations in different scenarios; from a job interview to being able to order food in a restaurant. I also provide information about Chinese culture and its manners/habits. These lessons will help you learn to speak Chinese and its fluency.

It is of primary importance for me to make sure students are confident speaking the language even when incorrect at first. We will be training your ear as well as your mouth positions to achieve that, working together to ensure you have a good grasp of the most relevant vocabulary you must acquire for your specific purposes. Do you love JAZZ? This is the only prerequisite to follow these lessons! It doesn't matter how many jazz singing lessons you already done. If you are a BEGINNER I can help you to understand better jazz music and how to sing it! For instance: how to give tempo at the beginning of the song, when to sing after instrumental solos, in which key is better for you to sing a song, how to sing in a suitable rhythmical way... But I would be thrilled to help you also if you're an ADVANCED STUDENT! We could work on some difficult and unusual harmonic passages, understanding how to approach them; we could practice the chords recognition, explore modal scales making vocal excercises; or I can help you for an audition, a special concert or a recording. In essence, this course is open to all levels and jazz lovers! I teach in English and Italian, but I speak also French, German and very basic Dutch.
