I am a graduate of the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg and holder of the State Diploma, I am currently continuing my journey at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne in Master Performer Composer Jazz. During my career, I had the opportunity to play in several contexts (solo, chamber music band, orchestra) and to be able to immerse myself in different musical aesthetics. Learning basic techniques, music theory, improvisation and ear development are part of the training. The saxophone course is personalized depending on whether it is a beginner or an advanced student. Beginner students will learn the solid basics, such as: good posture, good breathing, producing a beautiful sound, scale exercises, reading sheet music, basic rhythmic exercises. We will perform these exercises from different scores, which I can provide if necessary, and at the same time I also try to convey my own experiences. In general, I first show the exercise on my instrument and then let the student try to play it. We often play together. For advanced students, we will learn more complex pieces, more difficult harmonic and rhythmic exercises, thus expanding the limits of the instrument.
