English lessons for children and adults by a C1-level student

Hi everybody, I’m a 30 years old Italian guy who’s lived and studied in London, England for over three years. I’m a certified C2 English fluent speaker but also a full time musician. Welcome. We teach by using immersion and part-immersion methods playful classes for younger children and fun, part-immersion learning for the older students. My name is Alexander. I have been a teacher, counseling teacher, and special needs manager in many English elementary and secondary schools. Excellent teaching and successful learning have always been my goal in private and public life. As an expert and holder of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England in the field of education, I have always wanted to offer the highest quality teaching. This highest quality of teaching, the provision of qualified teachers (including myself), is and remains a priority in our school. As a person who believes in a world without borders and who likes Berlin, I decided two years ago to settle in Berlin. For a year I taught English in many Berlin elementary schools and kindergartens. During this time I noticed the need for qualified teachers instead of unqualified language instructors. As a result, I asked myself the following question: why not offer high-quality language services provided by qualified teachers; the teachers who have a university education?

I am a 25-year-old Australian law student who has come to live in Berlin for a year. I would like to help anyone who wants to learn English (at any level) achieve their goals. I have been learning languages (French and German) since I was 12, so I know what it is like to learn a new language and the effort that is required. I have also learned in this time that everyone learns differently, and so I will take a flexible approach to tutor English so that you, the student, can get the most out of your time. As a law student, I have a lot of exposure to "proper" English, as I have to read around 300 pages of very high-level English every week and analyse the meaning behind the text. I am also expected to write all of my essays in this style. I am happy to teach English that is more directed towards study or work, but I am just as happy to teach everyday conversational English as well so that you can sound more like a native speaker (I can even throw in some Aussie slang if you'd like!). Hi, I have a master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a degree in East Asian Studies with a mention in Korea from the University of Malaga.
