Are you trying to level up quickly to beat your peers in chess? You just found recently the game exciting and wanna learn more about it? Or are you preparing for a company or informal/formal chess tournament? I've got your back. With my personalized training, you will be able to improve your game in a few weeks. I will provide you with the tactics, strategies, openings, material, and a training plan so you can study on your own and become a better player in no time. What is in the training lessons: - Measure of your current level - Finding your playing style - Personalized training plan (openings, middle game, end game, tactics, strategy, time management) - Level up your skill and depth of thought (being able to think many moves beyond your opponent) - If you want to improve your blitz/bullet level I can also help you with that! About me: As a seasoned chess player with over 15 years of experience, I have honed my skills and competed in various international tournaments, showcasing my love for the game. However, my passion for chess has transcended competition, and in 2018, I made the decision to transition into a career as a professional chess tutor. Now, I find great joy in sharing the intricacies and beauty of chess with my students, and helping them to develop their own strategies and techniques. It's incredibly fulfilling to see my students grow in their understanding of the game and to watch their progress over time. We can even try an online lesson if you don't want to spend time commuting. I know how difficult is to find the right mentor and therefore I offer you this option to help you. Looking forward to meeting you and helping you improve your chess skills soon. Talk to you soon, Leo

English-Speaking Math Tutor for International School Students — IGCSE, IB, A-Level, Berlin & OnlineTranslate this text using Google Translate.

English-Speaking Math Tutor for International School Students — IGCSE, IB, A-Level, Berlin & OnlineTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Every student gets an individual plan — I don't use a one-size-fits-all programme. In our first session, I assess where your child stands: which topics are solid, which have gaps, and how they handle exam-style questions. This shapes everything that follows. We don't waste time on material they already understand. For students in Year 7–9, I focus on building strong foundations, keeping up with classwork, and making sure small gaps don't turn into big problems later. If your child has recently moved from another school system, I help bridge the differences between what they learned before and what their new school expects. For IGCSE and GCSE students (Year 10–11), lessons are focused on exam preparation: past papers under timed conditions, exam technique, mark scheme analysis, and targeted work on weak topics. I teach students how examiners award marks — understanding the difference between method marks, accuracy marks, and follow-through marks can raise a grade significantly. For IB students (Year 12–13), I cover both Analysis & Approaches and Applications & Interpretation at SL and HL. I also help with the Internal Assessment — from choosing a topic to structuring the exploration and meeting all five assessment criteria. The IA counts for 20% of the final grade and is where many students need the most guidance. Lessons are 60 or 90 minutes, conducted online via video call with a shared digital whiteboard. I'm also available for in-person lessons if you're in Berlin. Most students work with me once or twice per week during term, increasing to two or three times per week before exams. I offer a free 30-minute introductory session so we can discuss your child's needs and see if we're a good fit — no commitment.

Private DrumsetIinstruction - All Levels - All Styles - 30 years of teaching experienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Private DrumsetIinstruction - All Levels - All Styles - 30 years of teaching experienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Playing the drums is both fun and very rewarding, but it also carries a significant amount of responsibility. The drummer is the backbone of any musical community, creating a vital foundation for the other instruments to thrive upon. With a wealth of exercises and content available online at your fingertips to study, I can offer you valuable, personalized advice on three key aspects: technique, time, and touch. I like to call them the 3Ts. Technique: Playing the drums is physically demanding, requiring an awareness of proper posture to safely build the muscles needed to maintain a seamless flow of movement for hours on end. Time: Keeping a steady pulse is the primary focus of being a drummer. We need to build up our confidence to consistently maintain the desired time, even under adverse conditions. Touch: While presenting steady time, we need to open our awareness to make our beat feel good. It’s an attitude. It’s about being musical. This means using dynamics and personalizing our four limbs to create our own unique groove. This is where it gets deep. I love teaching beginners. They usually can jump ahead quickly in a short time. There is no mystery. The way forward means dedicating a little (or a lot) of time daily to the drums. Even just 10 minutes a day can lead to significant improvements. That’s the secret. I recommend using an intensive approach with the classes. Beginners take 5 weeks of 60-minute classes to learn the basics and then continue working on your own, returning for follow-up “check-ups” as needed. For intermediate-level students, I recommend a 90-minute class where I present a comprehensive overview, all tailored to your immediate needs. You then come back for more when the information has been digested. For advanced-level students, the same. There is so much to cover that we can focus on very specific topics. Styles, the rudiments etc... I have a lot of experience with traditional jazz and the rudimental history behind the craft. In the end, it's about creating time to connect with the drums every day. This connection is a wonderfully rewarding and grounding addition to our lives. I look forward to meeting and working with you.

Javier is an incredible teacher! He is not just teaching me piano, but really helping me to understand how music is structured and the reasons behind compositional choices. A very generous and experienced teacher, who is dedicated to broadening my music horizons and improving my playing freedom. I can highly recommend him, especially for intermediate players like myself who feel a bit lost and are looking for structure and direction.

I so enjoyed my class with Deborah! Immediately from when I first went in, I felt very comfortable. It was a really fun session, we went through different songs that I like, for her to get a feeling for my voice. She also already gave me some really helpful advice, which I can already feel the difference in how much power I have in my voice! I am really looking forward to my future sessions with her.

I've just had my first session with George, and I can only recommend him. From the limited information he had, he came well prepared with suitable things to work on. Good paced lesson, and my mistakes were quickly identified and good tips for improvement given. Techniques that I was struggling with were really well demonstrated and explained. Looking forward to my next session.
