PatrickPiano Lessons in Berlin, Mitte with a Professional Musician
I'm currently studying with Dr. Yossi Reshef, and teaching a technique based on a free wrist, loose arms, weight play, motion control, and deliberate practice methods.
Maybe you have hurts or technical issues while playing? that is a clear indicator for a wrong technique. It is actually possible to detect all kind of hurts and lead them back to techniqual mistakes. I know how to analyze your hand, arm and wrist motions and solve problems for you, also difficult passages can feel much easier suddenly.
I'm a classical pianist, specializing in a repertoire of classical composers, such as Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Beethoven, Schubert, and Mozart, but I'm open to all Genres of piano music, whichever you would like to learn.
Depending on your goals, we create a schedule for you to reach it. It is not essential for me on which level you are right now, you can either play for the first time or further advance your piano techniques.
Beside piano technique, I can also teach you how to accompaign yourself or someone else singing, and how to easily arrange a song for piano.
We can practice at my studio in Mitte close to U Französische Strasse with a Steinway&Sons Grand piano, or in my studio close to U Kleistpark, where I can teach also early morning or late evening.

Süedapiano , music theory, ear training ,solfege lessons
Playing piano can be very nice hobby and everyone can play the tunes that they like. The way how I teach depends on the student’s own desires. We can go with serious classical piano repertoire or something different like learning some jazz ,blues ,latin america, flamenco tunes or even with pop culture (Sinatra ,Ella Fitzgerald etc.)
The music theory class consists the fundamentals of different music cultures and analyzing skills which would be useful for young people who are planning to become proffesional musicians and to apply to conservatories or Hochschules. But also it can be so much fun to learn all the theoretical stuff that genius composers composed their pieces.
The ear training class is also part of the theory. But it is even more fun. It is always really exciting to see how we could train any kind of ear (one doesn’t have to have necessarily absolute pitch )
Looking forward to meet my students

DeniseSinging and Music Theory Classes- Children and Adults
I'm a professional classical singer with Master from the Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC). My goal is to teach music as a daily tool. Music helps during learning processes, especially with children during their development years.
I have more than 5 years of experience teaching adults, understanding different appreciation levels; as well with children, focusing on Willem's method.
No experience is needed.
Classes can be given either in English, Spanish or French.
The most important is to be in love with music and have a strong will to learn and enjoy.
MarkJazz/classical piano lessons from awarding-winning British pianist
Teaching is something I really enjoy. To impart knowledge to a student requires a level of understanding deeper than that of the ordinary performer, and I enjoy the challenge of expressing ideas in a personal way that is relevant to each student. To watch someone's love of music grow as a result of playing the piano is highly rewarding, and something I put a strong focus on. If you can learn to have fun at the piano and nurture your love of music it will become something truly life-affirming.
Reviews from my students:
"Mark is an incredibly gifted teacher and pianist. Being his student is always a pleasure, with a perfect balance of fun and discipline"
"I’m really satisfied, by both your technical knowledge and teaching skills"
"I absolutely love our lessons. I love it that you ask me how I am doing and adjust the lessons based on how I feel, that sometimes you don't push me too hard, but sometimes you do and I am grateful for this, that you have a certain trust in me and say that I will be able to play some pieces which gives me confidence. Lastly and most importantly, the myriad of thoughts that I always have in my head abandons me during our lessons, and this is such a fantastic feeling for which I am grateful too. Don't know what you could improve really"
About my performing career:
Mark is a pianist and composer from the UK, based in Berlin and working in the fields of jazz and improvised music. He is a Yamaha Jazz Scholar and Peter Whittingham Award winner and has performed his music and others at many prominent venues across Europe, including for BBC Radio 3 at the Late Night Proms.
Mark works as a leader and sideman in diverse artistic projects internationally, notably his large ensemble A Moveable Feast, Book of Haikus, Hayden Prosser’s Tether, a freely improvised solo project and countless other collaborative settings across Europe. He has also performed classical works including Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time.
Mark owes a great deal to the many extraordinary musicians and creative minds he was fortunate to encounter during his conservatoire studies in Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris, Amsterdam and Birmingham - John Taylor, Greg Cohen, Søren Kjærgaard and Harmen Fraanje to name just a few.
“A talented newcomer”
"Mark is an exceptionally gifted pianist and composer, and a remarkable improviser"
"A new voice in jazz ... both expressive and innovative ... a musical vision that is quirky, yet positively original"
“Ambition to match his talent ... a striking writer and orchestrator as well as a fine keyboard player"
"A musician with a very bright future indeed"
"Much has been written about Mark. All of it positive, all of it justified ... It is only a matter of time before he becomes a household name ... hearing Mark live should be a priority"
"Hugely talented ... technically gifted ... One of the real emerging talents of the UK jazz scene"
"Mark has increasingly been making waves with his singular and adventurous approach to music-making"
"A very great and mature talent"
LeiPiano Lessons, Music Theory Training, Aural Training and ABRSM Exam preparation
I have studied Piano Performance and Musicology at top universities in the UK and graduated with distinction. I have 4 years of teaching experience and a teaching certificate from the Royal Academy of Music in London as well as an ABRSM Diploma certificate for Piano Performance.
I design different lesson-plans for every single student depending on their levels, learning modes, interests, and abilities. You or your child will learn to become a complete musician, with not only performance techniques but also other highly transformative abilities: sightreading skills, aural skills, theory knowledge and above all, good taste in music.
My scheduling is very flexible.
All levels are welcome.
YunaPiano, Music theory lessons in English for all ages and levels.
I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic piano teacher from South Korea with an experience working with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and ages.
After graduating from a university in Seoul in South Korea with a B.A. in classical piano, I taught piano to foreign students in English not only in Korean.
Since September 2017, I have been working as a piano teacher at this beautiful music school in Berlin. I am teaching piano to 18 students using English and a decent amount of German.
I create professional, tailored and individual lesson plans for a diverse range of various students. In lessons, I engage actively with students and focuse on improving posture, developing practice strategies (i.e. utilizing various rhythm patterns on difficult, technical passages), and setting regular practice times, while also building a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
I am a strong interpersonal communicator and I am passionate about helping my students grow and realize their full potential. I teach with love, patience, and encouragement, and I have a strong flexibility to adapt to novel circumstances.
I give piano lessons at a music school in Reinickendorf in Berlin and I also occasionally offer piano lessons in student's own home in Berlin.
Antoineprivate violin course at home, Berlin and surroundings
Student at the Geneva High School of Music, member of European Youth Orchestras, gives violin lessons at home, for students of all levels and ages
I adapt my teaching according to the expectations and objectives of the student, so the technical work that allows to acquire a better ease with the instrument will always be directed towards a musical research and the pleasure to play music
I can also give some basics of music theory, included in a violin class. These courses can be part of the pattern of regular learning or in the context of one-off sessions (preparation of an exam, support in the personal work of a pupil of a musical institution ...)
AislingPiano lessons through English from enthusiastic teacher
I teach piano and keyboard skills with a friendly and encouraging approach. My students learn technical exercises and pieces/songs carefully chosen to suit each individual and I also incorporate relevant music theory.
I can prepare students for exams or just help you learn your favourite song, anyone is welcome!
ElieClassical pianist gives piano lessons in Berlin around Mitte / Gesundbrunnen
I give piano lessons at Wedding / Gesundbrunnen, but can also move me.
Coming from classical school, I have the heart to transmit a good technique, but I often complete with solid notions of music theory. Basically my teaching aims to make you autonomous when you approach a new work.
Reading notes, deciphering, position of the body, working ranges - arpeggios - trills / work on the typical exercises of the Cortot school. Musical theory, how to build scales, alterations etc etc etc ......
We can tackle together the classical repertoire, the blues, some jazz, pop music ...
Beginners and motivated children welcome.
Do not be afraid to jump in!
