If you want to learn music theory bring your own music paper and a notebook. If you want to learn recorder or bassoon it's necessary to bring your own instrument. If you want you learn piano we can use my Electric Piano.

If you have passion for music I will be more than happy to teach you and go with you step by step during your own time. I like to see how my students grow musically and come to love music even more.

Education

I graduated from the University of the Arts in Havana with a degree in Modern Bassoon. Last year I finished my second degree, but this time in Historical Bassoons at the Musik Akademie Basel. Currently, I am pursuing my second master's degree in Pedagogy at the same institution.

Experienced in chamber music and orchestra. I have played with several conductors and orchestras in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg, Mexico, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Argentina, Brazil, Dominican Republic and Cuba.

Je suis ouverte à toute sorte de musique bien que spécialisée dans la musique classique. Je suis étudiante à la haute école de musique de Bern.

I own a Master in Music Pedagogy and a Master in Performance, both attained at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. I have 12 years of experience teaching the Guitar and the Lute to students both young and adult, and I also regularly perform concerts in Switzerland and all around Europe.

I like to teach and play most styles of music, from classical music to Pop and Rock. Since I have been teaching violin and music, not a day has gone by without me saying to myself that motivation and pleasure are the greatest drivers of learning. This is why I always favor a relaxed and work-friendly atmosphere during my classes. Technique is of course of great importance to me.
I teach musical initiation, music theory and the viola which I practiced in chamber music and of course the violin, my main instrument with which I perform in several orchestras and ensembles.

My name is Bianca and I am 24 years old. Having grown up with music from my very first steps, I began learning the piano at the age of 4. My long piano studies, beginning with the Suzuki method (adapted for young children) and ending with a Master's degree at the Conservatoire Supérieur National de Musique et de Danse de Paris, have forged a solid piano technique and school, enabling me to help all types of students, beginners and professionals alike! My studies at the Schola Cantorum de Paris and the CRR de Saint-Maur led to five years at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where I obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree under the direction of Claire Désert, enabling me to experiment with different schools of piano technique, in particular the Russian method.
The many masterclasses I attended with internationally renowned teachers such as Tatiana Zelikman, Lilya Zilberstein and Ruben Dalibaltayan enriched my musical knowledge, which I'd now like to share with you!

My passion for opera singing was born around the age of ten and has only grown with age, leading me to start my Bachelor's degree in opera singing at the Musik-Akademie Basel in 2021 in Marcel Boone's class. The invaluable advice I received from renowned teachers such as Margreet Honig, Elene Golgevit and Snezana Stamenkovic inspired me to share my enriching knowledge of vocal technique from the Bel Canto school. My aim is to build a healthy vocal technique so that your voice is free and brilliant.

A passionate learner myself, I have recently graduated with a Masters from the Hochschule für Musik Basel in Specialized Performance (Improvisation). These diverse experiences are necessarily integrated into what I teach and how.

In my theory classes we’ll look at the fundamentals of rhythm, pitch, solfège, intervals, key signatures, cadences, and other important groundwork whose rigorous study we can then apply to real-life examples of music, helping you acquire a sharper analytical ear.
