I am a 21-year-old student in advanced studies at the Lyon Conservatory and I hold a DEM (diploma in musical studies) in violin. I also have a license in musicology and interpretation. My lessons are aimed at a wide audience of all levels (from beginners to 3rd cycle conservatory) and of all ages. I can adapt to the needs and objectives of each student and, for example, offer additional musical training courses.

I'm an italian professional violinist graduated in the Hochschule der Kunste in Bern and a member of Argovia philharmonic, Sinfonietta Lausanne and City Light Symphony Orchestra. My name is Gianni, I'm a professional musician, currently living in Basel and doing my master's degree in double bass at the Musik Akademie Basel. I've been playing and studying music since I was 7 years old; I started with classical guitar, then electric guitar and electric bass, then I started double bass and lately I'm learning saxophone. I would say my main instruments are guitar and bass and I have been teaching these for 5 years to students of different levels and different aspirations. For me it is very important to understand what the student wants and needs to guide him on the best path; I also try to always make the classes a fun learning environment. As scientists admit, music improves language skills, logical thinking, concentration, and has therapeutical effect on us. For me, playing the violin has proved to be that and much more. It has been connecting all the elements of my life - work, dreams of travelling around the world, my social life, my family. They say it is one of the most difficult instruments, but the truth is, it is difficult only if you make it difficult. My aim is to make my students fascinated by it any time they take it in their hands. In my work I concentrate on the needs and interests of the student and work on technique, music knowledge and joy in playing through games, special excercises and my own 27 years of experience in playing the violin.

FR/SP My name is Sebastián, Argentine trumpeter, trombonist and composer based in Basel. Since I was 18 years old I am working as a professional musician. I have worked in many educational institutions, such as EMC (School of Contemporary Music) Berklee International Network as Professor of Trumpet, jazz ensemble, and musical notation, in “Orquesta Juvenil del Sur,” an orchestra for underprivileged children, as a trumpet teacher at St Andrew's Scots School and as a private teacher. Apart from my teaching experience I was selected to participate in the renowned Focusyear Basel program along with seven international musicians at Jazzcampus Basel during 2020/2021 and after the end of the program I decided to start a master in composition in the same institution. Already the first year I had the honor of being chosen to arrange music for the wind ensemble of the prestigious MIT University (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and also to write original music for the Jazzcampus Big Band. I graduated from the Jazz career of the Manuel de Falla Superior Conservatory of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina and I received an Honorable Mention from the National Endowment for the Arts from Argentina in Unpublished music in the Jazz category and I also released my first album released by the Chicago label, United States Ears & Eyes Records. In 2019 I was chosen as revelation musician by the Argentine media "El Intruso". I am also working as a producer recording in my home studio.
