I'm a musician, composer and producer from the UK with more than 20 yrs teaching experience. I give classes for guitar, bass guitar, theory, composition, arranging, mixing and production in English with intermediate Spanish. I have my own approach to teaching drawn from my own inspirational teachers and the experience of teaching, performing and recording for over 30 years.   I adapt to the needs and goals of the student, but a typical 1st year class for guitar would involve focusing on a variety of pieces in different styles and suggestions of any helpful technical exercises, reading, rhythm playing, expanding chord/harmony knowledge and supporting theory. In time I would include new techniques as required by the piece and style and improvisation/composition to follow the student’s interest.   I have developed an accelerated program with the goal of the student playing their favourite pieces as soon as possible. My constant aim is to find the right balance between student motivation and a thorough musical grounding, equipping the student for the future. This course is above all there to make you want to play the bass, let it be a pleasure! It will be based on the practice of the instrument, on the understanding and the role of the bass. The theory will depend on the progress of the practice. Step by step, practice and theory will thus be complementary, and will necessarily serve!

- About the course-- My method is to work the technique and the musicality at the beginning of the tastes of the student so that the objectives are always stimulating. I try to develop as quickly as possible to the students, that is to say to make them able to target their own difficulties and to invent the exercises to solve them. --About me-- I am a guitar teacher for over 15 years, privately, music school (Kraainem, Waterloo, Enghien) and internship (AKDT). I started the guitar 25 years ago and have never stopped. I went through all styles: from classical to pop songs and then to electric guitar: blues, rock and then jazz (with Frankie Rose). Later, I developed flamenco (with Karim Baggili), Brazilian (with Osman Martins), gypsy music and Eastern European music (with Tcha Limberger). I am also versed in gypsy jazz. I can give classes of any level and any style. I give the theory in parallel of what is worked so that it enters in a passive way. I have experience with children as well as adults. I also teach electric bass and ukulele.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. The composer works “from the sounds” that he has most often recorded himself. He chooses them, assembles them, deforms them, mixes them according to his project, at will. of his intuition, his ideas and desires, gradually builds a music. For those who wish and need it, exercises are offered which allow to approach at the same time techniques of realization and precise musical proposals. Composition / Invention It is not a question of declaring themselves all composers, but of affirming that we can all ask ourselves composers' questions, with both seriousness and imagination.
