Hi everyone!
My name is Martina, I have a degree in Translation and Interpretation (English and German) from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. I am currently a student of a master's degree in Medical-Health Translation and when I finish I would like to study a doctorate abroad, in Germany, where I lived for a year. There I gave Spanish classes for foreigners and when I returned to Spain I wanted to continue teaching, but the covid-19 arrived. In Spain I have taught primary, secondary and high school students since I was 16 years old, in different schools, institutes and academies. I am currently 23 years old and I already have a lot of experience in the world of teaching, usually with young students, but I can also teach with adults. My level of English is C2, therefore, I have complete professional competence, and my mother tongues are Spanish and Catalan.
My teaching methods are based on the preferences of the students, depending on the reason for their learning I would approach it in one way or another. However, I always start from the four main areas of learning any language: listening, listening, writing, and reading. I adapt to the student's needs regarding the preparation of Selectividad exams or other official language exams.

As a teacher I have worked at the Adhoc Academy in Barcelona, teaching Catalan, Spanish and English to Secondary Education and Baccalaureate students.
Abroad I worked in two institutes in the city of Leipzig (Germany) where I was a conversation assistant in Spanish and I prepared the selectivity exams with groups of students. I was also a teacher of English and Spanish, as well as a coordinator of recreational activities, in a primary school in Brazil. Once again in my city, Barcelona, I was a language teacher for individuals and for the Canpedró association, where I taught primary and secondary school students.
Finally, during my stage as an undergraduate student, I did an internship at the Official School of Languages (EOI) of Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona), where I was a translator and teaching assistant, taking care of the translation of administrative documents and the preparation and correction of exams, tests and academic material for the school.
