This class is a communicative English class which is going to assist you in developing your speech and precision. Here we will explore, vocabulary with nuances in meanings, synonyms, idioms, proverbs, some phrasal verbs and prepositional phrases and all-around social English. The possibilities are endless for focusing on Public Speaking, Intonation and Voice Projection as well. For better results and further practice, your learning skills shall be stimulated by audio recordings, short readings and/or videos. Latin was popular a thousand years ago, French - a couple centuries ago, English is the language of the 21st century! We'll work on Speaking and Writing skills, and, of course, Grammar. For advanced learners I fancy such books as Destination and Grammar in Use (we won't be restrained by just these, though). With beginners we'll be maintaining a decent active vocabulary.
